Been going to Tbilisi for many years ago. It used to be empty and hardly used. It's now grown a good reputation and following and it's good to see the place much busier (though that can make it a bit noisy sometimes as in any restaurant.) The women who run the restaurant are efficient and friendly, they get the job done- a very impressive team. The food is always great, and the house wine is very drinkable. I'll be going again!

Nice venue. Food was reasonably good although the had run out of a number of things from being buay the previous nights. Try the cheese bread!

Auf der Suche nach echten georgischen Restaurants sind wir auch in London fündig geworden. Das Essen war superfrisch zubereitet, besonders das Chatschapuri. Von außen ist das Tbilisi etwas unscheinbar, dafür fühlt man sich drinnen wie in einem Wohnzimmer. Auch der Lärmpegel erreicht nicht das sonstige Londoner Niveau. Zudem ist das Restaurant in wenigen Minuten von der Tubestation Highbury & Islington zu erreichen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Great discovery on Holloway road: cosy restaurant, yummy traditional food and good wine. Some might say the staff isn't warm or super smiling but they are polite and efficient.

Something different on Holloway Road - pleasant atmosphere, roomy feel and excellent food. Will return! Went because (i) been intending to for a while and (ii) now planning a trip to the country. Looking forward to the trip even more now.

Tasty food. Nice staff. Big portions. I've had Georgian food before and this definitely lived up to my expectations. Two friends who came with me had never tried Georgian cuisine and loved both the food and the wine. I don't eat red meat so was a bit worried but there were plenty of delicious veggie options. We went for the mixed starter option with khachapuri, spinach dip, and aubergine - it was amazing, could not stop eating and was full after the generously sized starters. For a main, I had the stuffed peppers which were really flavorsome and my friends had harcho soup and a lamb stew, and really enjoyed both of therm. We would all definitely go back :)

Tbilisi is a haven of calm, unlike so many incredibly noisy places these days. The food is delicious - and comes in large quantities, so be careful not to over-order! Most of the plates are suitable for sharing. There is a large selection of Georgian wines. And it is very good value for money! I have been twice and will go again.

We had chicken in walnut sauce and grilled chicken with yougurt-garlic sauce. Also Georgian salad and dumplings for starters. Everything was delicious—we didn’t leave anything on our plates. Service is a bit slow but very warm/welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely food and amazing wine <3 Kindzmarauli and Khinkali are highly recommended :) The place itself has a nice atmosphere, it’s clean and got a nice minimalistic design

Amazing food. Had the chicken in walnut sauce, the dumplings and chocolate cake for dessert. All very, very delicious. Would recommend for romantic meals. Friendly staff.

Warm, friendly service. Our waitress looked after us very well, answering our questions about the food and drinks. The food is deliciously tempting, some similarities with other cultures cuisines, and should excite most palates. All in a little treasure of a restaurant. We will be returning if only to taste more of those fragrantly delicate meals. We recommend you book as Tblisi can be very, very busy.

Gorgeous wine, delicious food, very reasonable prices! Would definitely recommend Tbilisi. Ten of us ate, and we were served promptly and efficiently. Also, one of the rare places that gets the music just right!

Very good, tasty and reasonable priced food. Family run place so has it’s character. I enjoy going there regularly whenever I feel like eating spicy or tasty food.

Fantastic food. Having been to a couple of Georgian restaurants in London this is definitely my favourite. We were told that the chef/owner is a 65 year old Georgian lady who takes so much pride in her cooking that she tastes every dish herself to make sure it is perfect, and you can feel that in the balance and flavour of the food. Would highly recommend.
