Great sushi in Islington and a fantastic atmosphere. Attentive staff

Lovely foods and friendly staffs. But menu was set lunch only at lunchtime, bit disappointed.

Hope to have more options for lunch, like dinner menu.

Overall was good, abit More price but abit rush at the end as we had late arrival .

Mostly home-style dishes, aside from sushi and the fried stuff. All dishes were made very well, being generous with the ingredients. I don't recall many Japanese places offering such a range of rice and noodle dishes, but this place certainly has a decent range. The classic beef rice bowl and chicken and egg rice bowl were what caught my attention in the first place. And in times like these, it's good to see a place that is run in the safe way that it is.

Good + quick service. We had the sashimi and takoyaki to start, which was excellent. The tempura udon was good too, but the katsu don was less impressive.

Food was incredible and served very promptly. Staff agreeable and easy to catch the attention of. Really convenient and enjoable experience. Much better than the vast majority of restaurants, even those considerably more expensive. I will definitely go again.

Food used to be great. Todd time was poor. - sushi rice poorly cooked - seared tuna role - tuna was tough - sushi fish was tough - low quality - chicken teriyaki - chicken tasted old and was tough. V disappointed given I used to love the food at Tenshi

I've been there before and had a really nice meal. This time the food overall was not very tasty or exciting.

Sushi was not made by professional as it was so small and falling to pieces. Roll was not properly rolled. I know this because I am Japanese native. Katsu curry sauce was cold and disappointed too. It was nicely cooked when we visited last time, so this was a complete surprise. Once you have this kind of negative things happened, don’t think we will ever visit again.

Delicious and really authentic food. Lovely friendly and attentive waitress. A great dinner to celebrate my Mother's birthday thank you.

A nice little gem in Islington for a Japanese treat

Great tasty food, cooked really well and served quickly. Great atmosphere, cozy, warm and charming. It is like you are in a small lovely restaurant in Japan :) loved it!

I booked this restaurant for a client meal today. This is a sushi restaurant and upon order was told we don’t have sushi. This was at 1pm. How can that be? Extremely embarrassing for me as my client requested to eat at a sushi restaurant

I sometimes visited there and likes their foods because the taste is pretty authentic and reasonable. But this time I made wrong choice. Karaage Don (Deep fried breadcrumb chicken with steamed rice and pepper) . Karaage itself is tasty but not Karaage Don. Katsu Don (Deep fried breadcrumb pork with steamed rice and spring onion and baked egg) looked nicer.
