We had a lovely table for 4, which the restaurant very kindly gave us out of the way of a large party that was there the same time as us. The food was delicious and the service outstanding, they could not have been more attentive or personable. We will definitely return!

It was a long wait for food. Waited for over an hour before it came along. Eaten there several times in the past and would normally have some complimentary prawn crackers while you waited. I’m guessing these are austerity measure times as that’s no longer given. Food quality top notch but certainly issues with service delivery.

Fantastic as always. Superb, consistently good food and lovely service as always. Love this restaurant, cannot rate this restaurant high enough. A real treat every time we go.

Food was average, had the set menu and it may as well been vegetarian not a lot of meat at all. Don’t think I will be returning

Main meals were perfect. Mixed starter disappointing, too much fried food in it with barely any meat in e.g toasts I’m not sure what’s in them but it seemed to be mainly bread and wasn’t a fan of the fried vegetables. Didn’t get any complimentary prawn crackers like you usually do. Service was good although we had to ask twice for drinks. I’ve had better visits previously.

We had a lovely meal at Thai 1 as always Great service as well. Everyone enjoyed their visit. Relaxed atmosphere. Never disapppints. Would highly recommend.

Waitress was lovely and also the guys that gave us our food and another who gave s our drinks. We were 2 minutes late due to traffic and they had already scribbled our name off and said no show. Didn’t appreciate the attitude from the man at all and put our first impression down a few notches. My friend and I liked the food but due to our ‘welcoming’ will not return there

Having not been out for Thai meal before, is was much better than we expected with the Meal being one of are best we have had for a long time !! Will be definitely going back!

The best Thai restaurant I have ever been to, and at 66 I have visited a lot of them. The food was simply stunning. For example they served giant prawns that were the size of lobster tails. Staff were very friendly but not intrusive and I cannot recommend Thai 1 too highly. Wish I lived nearer!

Adequate. All our meals came at different times and none of our curries were at all spicy. My husband had asked for extra chilli on his and literally there was none!

Most enjoyable New Years Eve at the Thai 1, good food, nice wine, great atmosphere, pleasant and efficient staff and reasonable priced. Would definitely go again!!
