Thai Orchid - Salisbury

The restaurant is well located for the city centre. The staff were friendly but not intrusive, there was no hurry no pushy sales. The decor was in typical Thai style. The food was excellent And I’m on the best Thai food I have had.

A friend and I had booked online (very useful) for a pre-theatre meal. We were made welcome and given the regular menus but I had to ask for their special pre-theatre menu which represents very good value for money. The food was beautifully presented and came promptly, something which is important when there is a time limit. Both the starter and the main course were delicious, hot and tasty and we had a pot of Jasmine Tea fo two to accompany the meal which is included. This is about the fifth time we have taken advantage of this special menu and it certainly won’t be the last!

Great food and service at Thai Orchid - it’s been 10 years since the last time my wife and I were here; we certainly won’t be leaving it long before coming back again.

I love this place. Always courteous service with a smile and fantastic, authentic thai food and drinks. Dishes are well filled - not just full of cabbage and onion like some Chinese restaurants.

Very nice atmosphere: food took too long to arrive but they did apologise. My wife's chicken was delicious, but the beef penang was a little tough. Haven't been here since 1965, but will try it again! Nice people. The seafood patties were very good. (No. 10).

Second time at the restaurant Average food on this occasion but service ok. Not long waiting time for courses Won't be going before next show as under whelmed compared to first experience. Food good and set menu good value and price.

Excellent food and great service! The lamb curry, and the grilled sea bass off of the specials menu were lovely, and the garlic rice is the best!

I was really impressed with Thai Orchid. The food and staff were excellent and I thought the prices were very reasonable too. The food was so good I’d make a special journey to Salisbury to eat here.

Good welcome, attentive staff, and excellent choice of food, well served. Only downside was very straight backed chairs, which I personally found uncomfortable. Will go again.

Pleasant environment albeit a little cramped. Good attentive service. Food is good but not exceptional. The prices are reasonable also, will most likely return at some point.
