lovely food, great service, very reasonable prices...Will definitely return again
Good quality food and wine at reasonable prices. A bit noisy due to proximity to bar area but good value for money in pleasant surroundings.
Greeted on arrival by the Manager with a friendly welcome. decided on two course Sunday menu. Starter was lovely although a bit disappointed on the main meal of gammon roast bit over cooked.
The food was lovely food from a great choice of menu. First class service from friendly staff. Excellent value value for money. Will definitely go back.
We enjoyed the experience service very good food excellent and portions just right we did go at the quieter time. Would still return and recommend
I meet my friend at the Avenue on Saturday for lunch service is very good, staff are very helpful and friendly. Will be going back for sure
The service was terrific the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food choice was brilliant and it tasted delicious. We will definitely be back.
Very welcoming with very nice food. Nice local venue. Staff very helpful. Good food reasonably priced. Nice and accessible with good space to move around.
The Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The atmosphere and decor was nice and the service was spot on. Would definitely recommend and return.
Lovely food. Reasonably priced. Quick service with a smile. Not busy in restaurant at rear, though the bar noise drifted through to restaurant. Bit off putting.
Lovely food. Great value. Service was slow though. We had to prompt to have order taken and lengthy gaps between courses. Nice ambience though and staff very friendly
Staff lovely. Service excellent. Portion size huge - not really a complaint but just worth knowing . The tables at the front are in a light airy atmosphere. At the back a bit dark and dingy!
Good service and reasonable prices. Like the fact that you can order smaller portion which was perfectly adequate. Fish and chips very fresh and tasty
Good burger and accompaniments. Very friendly service, good bslue for money and pleasant atmosphere. I would happily return in the future. Overall happy with the experience.
Better than average pub grub served in a welcoming and relaxing environment. Service was very good with the staff really pleasant and clearly well trained.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and very reasonably priced. I am a regular user of The Avenue and have been for some years. There is no loud music. The place is beautifully set out having been refurbished recently.
We had a lovely round table for the 5 of us. The service was great and the food was lovely. There was a great choIce on the menu and the tapas portions were great.
Ordered a chicken katsu and the sauce was inedible. Rather than the normal Japanese curry sauce I was given a small black jar of something which resembled tar. It was thick, black and disgusting.
As always the food is delicious and well presented. If you haven't tried The Avenue- I would highly recommend and suggest trying the Scottish tapas
We felt the staff were very welcoming and chatty friendly and helpful too. Food was fantastic, , prices are very reasonable for both food and drink. I highly recommend the Avenue
We had an excellent evening at The Avenue, Bishopbriggs. The service was very efficient and the staff are all so friendly. The food & drink were excellent! My wife and I visit The Avenue very regularly and we are never let down with the food, service and entertainment, always of a high standard!
Food and service was excellent. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. Nice relaxed environment with a great choice of Gins to choose from! Would recommend a visit.
great food and great service. the portion sizes were great too. We had the set menu and it was great value for money. Eat there a few times now and will definitely go back soon.
Waitress did well to take care of our table of 9 and managed to bring the meal for one of the party who arrived later at the sametime
Good menu with a varied selection of food and drink for all tastes. Competitively priced. The food was excellent with the service all very good. Only criticism was the high noise level coming through from the bar area which made it difficult to have any conversation.
I found the restaurant very good the food was excellent service excellent decore was very good for pub price of wine was far too expensive for location
Great food and drink, friendly service from all the bar and waiting staff. Always a range of live music on a Saturday night to suit most tastes.
Been a few times now and find it a really good alternative to trekking into town .The service is always excellent with good food and great atmosphere.
EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE :) We all enjoyed our evening . Waiting staff are very pleasant and the food was well cooked and tasty. R
As usual first class ! Food and service amazing , we ordered lots of different dishes and the smaller portions are great , puddings went done very well , but I have to say our servers were amazing
An excellent selection of delicious food on offer, with rapid, courteous service. The children's menu is limited but adequate - but portion size is best for 8 years and under. Al in all, we had a lovely meal - thank you!
Fab food, service and cocktails! Always a great atmosphere. Great value for money. Fantastic to have this right on our doorstep. 🍾 🍾 🍾 🍾
Had a lovely lunch with two friends. We all enjoyed our choices of food and the cocktails were reasonably priced. We will certainly be back.
The Avenue is local to us so we know what to expect. We had really tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere and the staff could not have been any better. They were very accommodating. I would recommend it.
Excellent meal and service ,very comfortable setting and good value for money. Would highly recommend this venue and I'm looking forward to my next visit
Had dinner and opted for the set menu. Food was lovely, enough choices for each course. Service was great and because there was live music on the atmosphere was good.
Food was disappointing.it used to be good don't know what has happened to it. Chicken was over cooked and dry. Would not rush back. Other places round about to eat.
Lovely food, fish was amazing. Staff really nice attentive but not intrusive. Lunch menu good value. We will definitely be back. The toilets were also spotless.
Very disappointing. Got great reviews but was not nearly as good as expected. Food portions huge but that’s not always good. Food was not hot - had read before but hoped would not happen to me! And some food over cooked . Random serving of curry in a cardboard box? Set menu not a good balance. Not tempted to go back .
We have just moved to Bishopbriggs and had had this restaurant (The Avenue) recommended to us. We chose the £30 deal for two main courses and a bottle of wine. The wine was excellent and my husbands curry dish was good. My chicken dish was flavoursome but cold as was the Irish coffee that I had later. When we asked for desert we were told that the kitchen was closed which we thought was strange. Our excellent waitress however managed to source some ice cream and cheese cake. The meal in itself was good value but the experience somewhat bland. I think this restaurant is banking on its reputation and. could try a little harder
