Our second visit in as many months and just as good as the first. Good food, attentive friendly waitresses/waiter and live music in the background. Highly recommend this place.
We visited on Saturday 7th October. Great food and friendly service as always. Skyline was the band playing and were really good; catered for a wide range of music tastes.
Service was very good. Unfortunately our choice of main was no longer available. The bar area was extremely noisy, however the restaurant is placed far enough away from the bar to make the evening pleasant.
Head chef was absent on holiday and unfortunately it reflected on the quality of food, otherwise very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, great selection of food and drinks! Will be back :)
Food was amazing and the staff were excellent, especially with our 5yr old. We both got burgers and they were massive and really tasty, will definetely be back!
The avenue is the best place to eat in bishopbriggs, it has a friendly atmosphere and is kid friendly. Food is great and great value for money
Always enjoy coming to The Avenue; however am seriously unimpressed with their new menu. Where is the Avenue Salad?! That was a classic and has been replaced by a bland vegetarian salad. Don't feel theres enough choice in the new menu, bring back the old one!
Great friendly restaurant, great food and has a lovely atmosphere. Entertainment at weekends is always brilliant best place in bishopbriggs by far !! !! !!
Had a lovely meal at the Avenue . They do small or large portions of meals which is good for s.all appetites. The food and service was great would recommend.
Service and staff was very efficient even though it was busy.Haggis Bon bons starters are minute, could maybe be served with some salad ( this is why they have dropped a point) mushroom starters tasty. For the mains I had sea bass which was lovely and also batterred haddock which was nice, stayed and had a few cocktails and listened to live band,
lovely food and place was so much bigger looking after the refurbishment. Would definitely recommend you give it a try, very spacious and staff were all lovely.
Prompt service Friendly staff Food fab - I had steak my partner tapas Cocktails lovely - mojitos and French martinis Nice ambience Great live music - the misses Good location
The staff were excellent, drinks were fine, the burger & fries again excellent. The salmon was nice however the potatoes were slightly over cooked, what I don't understand is why salmon with potatoes and veg is served with toast ??? Apart from that it was very nice.
Excellent food. Very attentive staff - nothing a bother. we will definitely be back Cocktails looked lovely - will try them at next visit Place very clean
food was lovely and portions were great. Can have choice of small or large portions - good touch. Staff are attentive and friendly, atmosphere is great and refurbishment is lovely. Highly recommend.
I was disappointed the last 2 occasions I ate here but decided to give it another go after the refurbishment, to see if the food had improved. I'm sorry to report I was disappointed again. The kids macaroni was congealed looking as though it had sat under a heat lamp so my toddler wouldn't touch it. I ordered from the tapas menu & I have to say this is very overpriced! The prawns especially were not as nice as I've eaten before despite being more expensive. The staff are lovely however we won't be returning.
Really busy so glad we booked a table. Both went for the burgers. Black and blue (without the blue) was delicious. Back through to the bar for drinks and live music. Top night.
Staff very attentive and friendly. 3 out of the 4 meals were tasty, 1 was bland. Good atmosphere, entertainment was very good. Will return again to see the band.
Staff friendly and efficient. Service a bit slow for the mains. Food tasty and good portion although one of the party would have liked a bigger portion of custard.
The staff were very good and helpful and did not rush you. The food was very good. The staff even done smaller portions for the children and they too loved their meals
Overpriced !!! Portions are very small, especially haggis starter which consisted of 3 balls with sauce around it. We all expected a higher standard and left very dissappointed. Only positive was staff were very nice.
Food was fab, enjoyed by all. Great selection on menuu.Service was very good. Family friendly and easily accessible. Can't wait to go back. Prosecco was bit pricey.
This is a great restaurant. Staff are very friendly and prices are reasonable. The menu is varied so most people will find something for them.
Had a lovely mothers day meal with my family , good food and good service. Prices were also very good. We would go back again
Quick meal at early dinner time. Service was good. Staff friendly. Food was good, would make better choices next time. Not much atmosphere but probably too early.
Great service and food was lovely. Only disappointment was the lack of cocktails and that the toilet was downstairs (one of our party was unable to go down stairs).
Lovely food. Pleasant staff. Nice ambiance. Sat across from bar which meant could still enjoy the band whilst having dinner. Will definitely return soon. Thanks
Food is amazing in here, good selection of drinks, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Really central to Bishopbriggs so easy to get home too. Would definitely recommend :)
The Avenue is brilliant the food is amazing, such friendly staff, atmosphere is great really lovely place for families, couples, or a good night out would highly recommended !
We havent tried the Avenue until now - surprising since its right on our doorstep but we loved loved loved it! Very fast service and a great atmosphere!
The Avenue has a nice atmosphere. There are tables at the front of the venue and upstairs and through the back, it has a large area with tables and chairs. The food is fantastic, the service is fantastic and the live bands are great!
Food was fantastic. Would definitely return. Only problem is there is no clear area to go to where you can be seated for your reservation.
Great menu. Lovely meal. Nice beer. Excellent cheesecake. Friendly staff. All good. No buts. Highly recommended. Not one for lots if words but you should try the Avenue. You won't be disappointed.
Honestly it was a really bad meal, food came out cold and had too send back, couldn't even order anything else as I was so put off and had a bowl of chips instead.
Good food and plenty of it albeit pub envirinment. couldnt falt service but only critiscm would be when live band started it was quite loud.
Lovely food and good service as usual, the only thing I or my guests were unhappy about was that the website said the music started at 9.30 unfortunately they were 'practising ' at 8.45 they were actually playing - it was very loud and found it difficult to have a conversation
Great night with lovely food and very friendly staff. The food was priced just right, not too dear and a wide range of choices. Highly recommended!!
Have been to the avenue a few times for a meal & have had always had a good experience service excellence & food good will always go back
