Lovely decor and atmosphere. Excellent service food was delicious along with lovely bottle of rosie wine. Friendly and attentive staff (credit to the management) Relaxed later in the lounge with friends listening to live music (The Raggaels). Well worth a visit

Great local pub, friendly staff and excellent food. Good choice on the menu and the special, salmon, was lovely. Should always book if looking for an early evening table.

Xlent service from staff food good tho staff member missed out that mashed potatoes included in turkey dinner which I don't like but equally irritate my stomach. A very minor issue on the scheme of things which overall was an xlent service

Very enjoyable lunch. The smaller portions were very adequate and most reasonably priced. The staff were most pleasant and the service good. The only downside was that the decor is a little shabby. The table surface had pieces gouged out.

Food was good, great choice of beers on offer, great atmosphere with live music (on Saturday night). I would definitely recommend the Avenue for casual dining and drinks.

Unfortunately this wasnt for me. Food wasn't very nice at all - in fact doubting it was adequately cooked. Waiting staff appeared dumb founded by a complaint and who I'm assuming was manager was actually quite defensive and arrogant. There are better places to eat locally.

Wasn't expecting The Avenue to be as good as it was. Great service and food at reasonable prices. Good options for both children and adults with good variety. Staff friendly, efficient and courteous. Will definitely return.

Our booking for a Wednesday afternoon , staff OK. Food not great, special sausage undercooked, veg too hard, burger not great. Restaurant was quiet !

Attractive surroundings with great food, pleasant helpful staff , attentive friendly service, good value for money,difficulty was choosing what to have, so many good things on the menu, will be back

Excellent. I would highly recommend the tandoori haddock, possibly the best starter I've ever had, very tasty. Great service too. Will definitely be back again.
