Friendly staff, good food. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The only downside was that the menu was quite limited for a Sunday afternoon, but I suppose a Sunday roast is only to be expected! I would recommend it to anyone.

We were asked if we would be okay with pink beef but when it came it was over cooked . The carrots were mushy but what there was of the cabbage was nice along with the broccoli but there was a mountain of green beans and the roast potatoes were sad not crispy both plates were swamped with gravy, a little gravy with a gravy boat would have been nice. Overall not a pleasant experience

The staff were very good but the one thing that let them down was the main course. I ordered the Sunday turkey meal, the Turkey was very dry and the Yorkshire pudding flat and stodgy. The starter and dessert were both very good

The best Sunday lunch I've had in a long time! Even my picky Gran almost licked her plate clean! I had the crab cake starter which was simply delicious but not too heavy that I didn't have room for my Sunday roast lamb which came with a selection of veg and potatoes and a huge yorkshire pudding! My Gran had the roast beef which I'm told was amazing and we both cleaned our plates. The vanilla cheesecake for dessert was too good to pass up and we both had this, again this was absolutely divine and if I'd had room I'd have had a second helping! The service was excellent, the wait staff checked on us during every course but not to the point of being annoying. The food came out quickly and was lovely and warm and the staff were friendly and polite. I would absolutely recommend The Bank to anyone and will certainly be returning!

The food was fantastic, best meal out I have had in a long time. Still fantasising about it! Can't wait to go again. Drinks and service also perfect. Only reason for not rating a 6, is that I was expecting, and would have preferred to be seated upstairs to eat, rather than downstairs in the bar area. Just to experience it, as it was my first time eating there, although I have been in for drinks many times. It was lunch time when I went, maybe they only do that in the evening. However, I had a lovely time, and left there very happy. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I made an online booking but when we attended they had no record. There was a party upstairs so we sat in the bar which was very quiet and we enjoyed our meal.

Great service, good choice of starters and drinks. The choice of mains could have been better. Certain things unavailable which is surprising for early evening. Meals arrived beautifully presented and were taaty.

I visited The Bank with friends, straight from work on Wednesday 29/06. The Services was a little slow, however, we didn’t mind as when the food arrived it was gorgeous.

Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Good menu choice but the starters were over priced. 5 small prawns and nothing else for £9 was a rip off. Main course and dessert good. Service was average. Had to ask what the soup was and had to ask to order as no one came to us. Overall enjoyed the experience and would return

Lengthy wait between courses - food was very good. Service could be better. All in all I was disappointed having been previously and raved to family how good it was.

Have lunched at The Bank before and not been disappointed. I booked on line and table was ready meal was Sunday lunch which was fine. I would prefer to sit upstairs but it seems this rarely happens as often booked for private parties.
