Although we arrived 25 minutes late we were well received and treated very well.

Wonderful venue, friendly atmosphere and great food wine and staff.

Had a excellent excellent meal at the restaurant, it was fir 13 people in a private room service was great it was a celebration for my 65th birthday, wonderful place go anytime.

The food was very good as always. However we waited over an hour for our main course and had to ask what the delay was. Apparently it was due to a wedding. Oh dear, not good enough team!

This is a lovely place for a special occasion as the service is excellent and makes you feel special. The food is beautifully cooked and presented and for a reasonable amount the 2&3 course set menus are excellent value

I would like all pub meals to be like this. Really nice selection of drinks, great room delicious food. We went with the a la carte - mackerel starter particularly good - but a smaller good value menu was available too.

We were immediately seated in a lovely position at a table in the bay window.Our drinks and food order were taken promptly and we were extremely well looked after during our meal.The food was superb and served to our liking.We will definitely be returning.

Excellent food, salmon risotto & the main course of braised beef tartlet was delicious as were the sides. Dessert i would say the rice pudding was one of the best i have ever had.

The quality of the food was excellent and the service was good except for an unacceptable wait of 40 minutes for a single starter.

Service impeccable as always but lunch mains of roast beef exceptionally disappointing. Having thought about it we should have complained at the time but it is so disruptive for your group when food has to be sent back. The beef was perfectly pink but half of what was a pretty paltry portion was pure fat. The Yorkshire pudding was huge but overcooked and scarcely edible. So disappointing for a family celebration. Sorry Bay Horse have to say " could do better!" Other meals we have had have been exceptional so we were disappointed on this occasion.

The restaurant was lovely. Good atmosphere. We had a Sunday lunch, veg was nice and decent portion but the sirloin beef was fatty and in our opinion and not a lot of it.

The food, Service & Staff were excellent. Desert to die for.
