Excellent service, good food and gorgeous views over the sea

The waitress took the wrong order for our meal. When my meal of fish and chips arrived, they tried to give my partner a meal of mussels and pasta. The waitress apologised, reordered the food then waited another 20 minutes for the meal to arrive at this point my partner had finished her meal and this spoiled our dining experience. I also ordered a side dish with my meal that had gone cold by the time the meal arrived. When I ate the meal, the chicken inside the skewers was pink and raw inside. I was shocked by the overall lack of attentiveness from the serving team as they were huddled together by the bar for most of my dining experience. At the end of the meal I was then asked to pay in cash rather than by card. The whole experience left me appalled.

In one word “Amazing” Great friendly staff, we had the best table (as we were with our dog) plenty of room, fantastic singer whom sang an amazing set whilst we were dining. The food was superb, pricey but fantastic so no issue paying the price. Only in Blackpool for one night and the Beach House made it the best night out we’ve had in ages! Thankyou from both of us and Pogo! x

Staff are always attentive and very friendly and warm. However the food was a disappointment on this visit. Ordered a tomato garlic bread and 2 wild mushroom pasta dishes. Garlic bread wasn’t particularly hot, and both pasta dishes were extremely oily, both myself and my mum could only eat just under half of each of our meals due to it being far too oily. Staff dealt with this and offered us a different meal but we wouldn't have had time as we had a show to go to (celebrating mums 70th and my 50th birthdays ) staff were very apologetic and this review is not a criticism of the staff, just that the meal was disappointing. Both main courses were taken off our bill.

Our main came out whilst we were still eating out starter. No-one had checked to see if we had finished our starters, so had to send it back. Although the food was tasty, we dont believe a new main meal had been prepped. Dining experience felt rushed.

Fabulous first visit Loved the guitarist who played such a varied set Food was amazing along with our lovely blonde waitress in a beige suit that served us attentively ( she was eating there herself with family same day ) Will be returning soon ❤️

Good was nice and fresh but attention to detail poor Had mussels but not dish to place empty shells in so had to use napkin, again no napkin to remove water from bottle when taking out of ice bucket so table soaking wet

Food was ok apart from chips overcooked and inedible. Chairs were so uncomfortable and meet to be sorted as such a shame a beautiful place and view just let down by very simple things.

This place has a lovely atmosphere, very calm looking out onto the sea while you’re eating. There was a live singer on the night we went which just added to the atmosphere even more as she sang a mix of different songs but weren’t too loud. The staff were lovely so helpful and efficient and the food, omg the food was amazing. We spent the weekend in Blackpool and this was the best meal we’d had, everything was cooked fresh and didn’t take too long to arrive, the portions were bigger than expected too but every bit was delicious so worth the money. The seafood pappardelle was amazing, full of flavour and lots of seafood too, my husband had the beach house burger and I must admit it looked really nice, it was massive and my husband said it was delicious the best burger he’d had in a long time. My son had the traditional fish and chips and the fish was huge, it could have 2 of us. I’d definitely come back when next in Blackpool.

Highly recommend heading here for any meal. We went for breakfast, seated in beautiful sea view restaurant area. Everything was perfect! Will be back next time we are in the area!

Two main meals (pizza)arrived 10 minutes before the other mains Burger and pasta dish). Was too long waiting as waitress recognised this and told us the other two meals were on the way. If a party of 4 I would not expect two persons to start eating before the other meal arrives. By the time the other meals arrived, our pizzas were lukewarm warm at this stage. We are not one to “kick up a fuss” but an apology when bringing the late meals would have gone a long way. It was quite evident we had been sitting waiting for them. The other part of the evening was the loud table who took over the whole restaurant with their conversation. Where I appreciate this is difficult to manage, when other diners are asking to leave their table because of the noise and you cannot hear a conversation with the person opposite there is a situation which requires attention. This was poor service to the rest of the restaurant.

I booked for the airshow experience thinking that the beach house location would have the best view available (as advertised) but unfortunately my chair was back to the window. Husband had mussels but one of them was bad so he left it. (It had no form and just looked slimy and milky) my crayfish starter was rubbery. The Marie Rose sauce was watery and it was all a bit bland. The Spanish pizza was nice and I enjoyed the cheesecake. My husbands baklava was a bit bizarre and more style over substance - way to much filo. The service was good and the staff were attentive but we won't be rushing back.

We really enjoyed our dining experience. The food was really tasty and drinks were also nice, however it was maybe a little loud for younger members of our party.

Fabulous time watching the amazing air show from the table by the window - at one point the ceiling was even rolled back so we could fully enjoy the experience. Excellent food and drinks and the staff are very efficient and friendly - would highly recommend

Dinner booked for 8.30pm Waitress came over to take food order without asking what drinks we wanted first. She then came back and asked again in a short space of time. Our mains arrived as we were still eating our starters so had to go back to the kitchen and sit to dry out! We were never asked if we wanted to see the desert menu nor if we wanted any more drinks. Had to ask for more tap water. Went to the bar area at 10.20 and wanted a coffee to be told the machine had been switched off. Asked for the bill and it was already there waiting and the waitress appeared on the other side of us with the card reader.. All in all a very rushed experience and we felt like we had to leave as soon as possible. Shame as we spent over £200 on 2 people as a celebration, but won’t be returning

Great atmosphere, there was a saxophonist playing in the background, the service was excellent even from the brand new server's. Food was brilliant, pizza really nice dough and cooked perfect. The chicken kebab was massive, could be half as big and still be enough. Great children menu. Overall an excellent restaurant

My family have come here for dinner a few times now and the last two have not been great. Our most recent visit which was yesterday, we were sat at a table “in the conservatory” which was a table right in the middle of a walk way and right by the bar. Throughout the dining experience people were squeezing by our table, workers were squeezing by with food and drinks knocking myself because of where I was sat. We were also sat right beside where workers were getting knives and forks etc which was extremely loud. I moved round the table to not be directly in front of it. Barman behind the bar when putting mugs and glasses away was extremely loud at doing this. Totally understand people have a job to do and to put things away. However, they should also be very mindful when doing so that there are customers directing in front of them trying to enjoy dinner and drinks but can hardly hear each other due to flinging mugs for the coffee machine and glasses away. Our waiter also got our order wrong. Myself and my mum asked for two of the hamburgers and it was two chicken burgers that came out. I totally understand that mistakes happen and this was dealt with straight away. However, my dad’s dinner still came out and he had to sit and eat to stop it going cold which ruined the dining experience. There was no offer to take my dads back and bring them all back out. Our hamburgers then came out which looked amazing. However, when cutting into the burger, there was blood seeping from the meat. My mums wasn’t just as bad. However, it made me feel as though it was rushed and brought out as quickly as they could as the waiter got the order wrong. Which is fine for someone that likes a burger that way, but to me it made me feel as though my dinner was rushed out for a mistake I didn’t make. I also totally understand that some people may like their burgers this way, however with how raw the meat actually was, the waiters should be asking customers how they would like the meat cooked. Would love to be able to show someone a picture of how raw this was. Overall, the last two visits, service has been slow, orders were also incorrect this visit and last, and this visit was made worse by where we were sat. Disappointing as we love the vibe of the place, love the location by the sea, and decorations and live singers or DJ. But, last two visits have been awful.
