Beach House Bistro & Bar

First time at The Beach House & will most definitely not be the last. The restaurant was beautiful, decor, location & view and the food was amazing. Great choice in the menu & beautifully presented - winner in my book!

I brought my Mum here for lunch on Mothers Day and although we had an overall good experience we felt that some things could be improved upon. We ordered two Rum and Ginger Beers to drink but when they came there was no Rum. My Mums starter of Crayfish Cocktail was very poor and only consisted of a single Lettuce leaf with some Crayfish tails in a very watery sauce. At one point one of the wait staff came to collect our empty glasses and then proceeded to ask my Mum to finish off the remaining Wine in her glass so she could take it. Staff were friendly and helpful but more training is definitely needed.

Fabulous venue in the heart of bustling Blackpool. Beautiful food, drinks and atmosphere … especially in the sunshine. We will return x

Busy for a Tuesday atmosphere was nice service was ok if not a little slow...Food was presented well and very hot which was nice and cooked fresh the battered fish was very greasy though for my liking overall nice evening

Food was good. The service wasn’t great. The person taking the order didn't seem to know the menu and when we gave our orders we had to point each thing out. Two pizzas came out quite a while before other dishes. One person had a starter that came out Amongst the mains. They were then brought their main while eating it and the waitress just gave it them rather than acknowledging they were eating a starter and fixing the issue. (We did later raise this and the starter was taken off the bill as they couldn’t finish it and have a warm main meal). We had to attract the attention of someone to get a steak knife. One of the waiters came poured out the rest of our bottle of wine but all into one glass rather than splitting it between the people having wine when we had been pouring our own until then and he didn’t ask if we wanted it pouring out. This left someone without any more wine unless they ordered another glass. They also them came and wiped down the table while we were all sat there (it wasn’t particularly dirty) and involved us moving glasses out of his way etc. felt very clearly like they wanted us to leave even though it was before the time they said they wanted the table by. All into all, nice food but poor service.

Family of four put on the worst table in the place, asked about the 3 vacant booths and told they were for tables of 6. Then watched three parties of 4 seated at them. Food was nice but don’t appreciate being lied to.

Greeted with a warm friendly welcome. Beautiful setting, the food was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. We’ll be back very soon x

Really disappointing visit, appeared extremely short staffed, but continued to take walk ins. Starters were only Luke warm, left after 2 hrs as going to a show and main courses still hadn’t been served. Staff were very pleasant and apologetic, so felt sorry for them. Presume the kitchen was short staffed too as very little food came out of the kitchen. Have had good experiences before so hoping this was just an off night.

Food was amazing but a few service mix ups, slow drinks and food and wrong food brought to table

We were looking forward to ou visit to the Beach house since it's refurbishment, we have visited previously. Initially style wise not much has changed in the restaurant area the bar area has seen a change. The problem we encountered was the sound system which had an extremely loud bass so much so that one of our party who wears hearing aids could not sit comfortably. We did mention this and along with another customer we moved table.James and his team did everything they could to rectify the proOnce moved the service and the food were excellent

Some of the fillet in the wrap wasn't as tender as I would have expected. A steak knife might have helped. I was also sat near to an outside door which was left open, so myself and the food became cold quite quickly. However, the flavour of the food and the service was excellent.

Lovely table and food all came out piping hot really good portions but only thing that stopped me putting amazing we had to ask for tap water 3times before we got it .

Anniversay meal that did not disappoint. Love the new interior but food, drink and staff remain of a high quality. Would highly recommend.

Our seats in the restaurant gave us a fantastic view of the bay, just before sunset. The staff were friendly and professional and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Hardly any wait and the atmosphere was lovely. We had wine then cocktails which were stunning. We will be back again.

A lovely location right on the beach. The food was tasty and nicely presented. The drinks were pricey.

Our visit was for a Birthday celebration. The food was delicious with the wine flowing. The staff were pleasent and polite. We have a beautiful sunny view.

Food and drink very good, only slight downside was the coffee was a bit weak and tasted more of milk and the lighting was rather poor which made it a bit difficult to see

Been a few times to beach bar grill and enjoyed it . This time was slightly different the service was ok but not exactly on point . We sat and ordered out drinks and even though it wasn't busy the table staff were a little slow at service, we asked for a food menu but waited around 5 minutes and gave up and got my own .Instead of bothering staff I booked a table on line and was prompted to move to a nicer seat .. but when we went to order wood fire pizza was informed there was no wood ?and when you realise itsc20%of the menu that's a bad show... Anyway ordered our meas and my wife was asked if she wanted anchovies she said yes and they didn't arrive with meal .. anyway will drawn a line under this and hope next time to have a better experience

Had to wait over 20mins for our reserved table, no offer of drinks on arrival while we waited (not insinuating we wanted free drinks but an offer while you waited is a standard). 2 children of ages 3/5 which was mentioned in the reservation, but the kids pizza had too much tomato base and not enough cheeese to please a child. Food otherwise was absolutely delicious. Oysters, Calamori/Baby Sole, Sea Bass, Chicken Bara Bara and kids chicken tenders went down a treat. Toilets weren’t the cleanest. Water/Urine on the floor on two of the cubicles and hand dryer not working so had to use toilet roll. Waiting staff were great, curious and attentive. Overall, worth a visit, been here every year on annual trips to Blackpool for the last 5/6 yrs but more attention to detail needed.

I had some how messed up my reservation and only booked for 2 instead of 4 but the staff were amazing and sorted out a table of 4 immediately. The staff were very friendly, and efficient. The food was delicious. The calamari was soft and tender and my sea bass was delicious.

Bliss , luxury and fabulous service . Bit pricey but totally worth it .

We went to the Beach House for Valentine’s Day and it was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for any improvement. The food and wine (you must try the Lebanese red wine) was out of this world and the service and atmosphere was exceptional. Top that off with a live sax player and a DJ and what more could you want? 10/10 would highly recommend.
