Went for an evening meal with my daughter and sister. Had a lovely evening. Plenty of choice. Live singer who was excellent. Helpful staff. A lovely atmosphere and recommended. Mid price range.

I wasn’t that impressed with my visit to the beach house bistro on this occasion but i’m Being generous with my scoring because I feel that under different circumstances I would’ve enjoyed it more. The location is fantastic, very modern, trendy interior with a DJ. Myself, husband and 3 children dined at 5:30 but I felt quite uncomfortable surrounded by mostly couples or groups of adults.... I didn’t feel that the restaurant was particularly child friendly. Service was incredibly slow, almost 15 minutes before the waiter came to take our drinks order! We ordered drinks & food at the same time... both took a while to arrive. I wondered if the table next to us were VIP’s as they had staff buzzing around them constantly! The food was delicious but in my opinion a little over priced. My husband ordered the pineapple rice which is served inside half a pineapple, great presentation but the portion size wasn’t great with barely any beef... for £17! As we neared the end of the meal we’d been in the restaurant so long (due to the slow service) my youngest was getting fed up and I was aware of the disapproving looks from other diners. We asked for the bill which again we waited ages for, when the table next to us asked for theirs and received it instantly we just went up to the till to pay. The 20% as advertised hadn’t been deducted so we had to ask for that. Had I been there with friends or as a couple I think I would’ve enjoyed the experience more. Possibly it’s different during the day or fine with older children but I just don’t feel this is a place for young families.

There is no better venue to watch the sunset. The view really is spectacular. Smart place with the bonus of a great bar and excellent food.

Great customer service although the chicken dish wasn’t as fresh and high quality as normal, but the restaurant was exceptionally busy so could be why.

It was my wife's birthday. We ordered wine and food. 90 minutes later still no food... we paid for the drinks and left completly disappointed.

food nice scallops pricey for amount given. Dissappinted that unable to sit near the window. Tables reserved but no one sat on them while we dined.

We go to the Boathouse whenever we!re in Blackpool. It’s one of the nicest atmosphere’s in a restaurant. Love the music and the food even though I’m an oldie.

Good food and a nice ambience whilst dining on a Saturday with live music. We Visit regularly and never the beach house never disappoints us.

I came here in January and had a lovely evening with my mum celebrating her belated birthday. The food was really lovely and the service was fantastic.

Excellent food. Great venue and friendly staff. Midern and clean decor. Only downside was that the room you eat In was too cold. Would go in summer next time when it’s wsrmer.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Parking outside would be good rather than having to go in town centre and paying £3. Good choice on menu. I can imagine in summer, its a great place to be.

Loved the food and loved the company but there was a bunch of lads which to be honest were way to loud for a restaurant and to be honest wasn't pleasant but staff were so lovely .

Service slow, waited 15 minutes for our table to be cleared. The waiter didn’t ask if everything was ok. My pasta was full of oil and the prawns were over cooked. The chicken in the pineapple rice was over cooked

Lovely meal service was great and very friendly. Lovely to have live music but it was a bit too loud and makes it difficult to talk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and thought the food was amazing! The only downside was that the music was a touch loud, and at first we found it hard to talk, but we did adjust to this and it did create a fun atmosphere.

Went for dinner here before evening Theatre. Great relaxed atmosphere , nice attentive staff and THE best fish & chips I've had in a restaurant for ages. Absolutely huge and lovely fish cooked to perfection. Lovely.

The food is always fab, along with the atmosphere and views. Easy to book and great weekly offers. would recommend to anyone. as always you get what you pay for

Visited last night - lovely restaurant and bar but the food and service were a big let down. No sushi available at all - even though it was only 6pm. Salmon tacos were fridge cold, scallops were good but the tiniest portion I've ever seen. Red Thai Salmon tasted nothing like Thai spices at all and service was painfully slow. Very expensive for below average food and service. Travelled to visit the restaurant and an overnight stay to celebrate my birthday with the family - wish I hadn't bothered. Ruined our night. Wish we had gone to Manchester instead

Taf our waiter was extremely accommodating and should be recognised! He made our night really enjoyable, and provided excellent service throughout. The food was exceptional and well worth what we paid for it. Must attend again! Would recommend to anyone!

Greeted politely on our arrival and was informed table not ready, not a problem as we knew this was a popular place. Service was a little slow, but again the lovely staff explained all this and kept us up to date with timings etc. Food was spectacular, just amazing. Only neg was music far too loud to hold even a raised voice convo. Take an edge off the volume guys, 10/10 all the way.

Food great, drinks great, service great, venue great. Nothing more to say except visit you must when in Blackpool. A gem and highly recommended. A must.

Setting was fabulous, ambience great, location perfect and food tasty but just far too understaffed to meet need. We waiting 20 minutes for our drinks order to be taken (which made a very tired thirsty 5 year old unbearable company). My food was warm, but certainly not hot, but his pizza was great and gone in minutes but it was by then too late to order dessert. We then had to ask 3 times for the bill. Such a shame as I'm sure everyone was working hard to make this place special. Management - you need more staff at peak times of the year!

Proposed to my partner here on 27 October 2018. Pre booked online with my intention and requests...The food was perfect. Worth the addition you pay for top quality food..the staff were attentive and the service very proffesional and organised. Even though the restaurant was very busy...special thanks to Saab and Charlotte who have top quality service credentials. Worth the trip from Manchester now on a yearly basis to celebrate our anniversary. Lovely ambience to the place. THankyou everyone at the beach house. Tom & Debs

Location is great, atmosphere brilliant, waitress was very efficient and polite. Downside very long wait for food, main came over an hour after starters, when we complained. There then seemed a rush to get food to us and the chips were not cooked through. This would have not been an issue if didn’t have the children with us as the atmosphere was brilliant drinks great, just the food delay only downside. Would definitely visit next time in Blackpool.
