Really very poor after emailing and speaking to someone on the phone informed the beach house that we were a small hen party of 6 coming for cocktails at 6 on We were told to remove our bridal shower sashes no one even acknowledged the event we were celebrating it was hardly busy as it was only 6pm on the whole a very disappointing visit which was a shame as it was myself that had visited before and recommended the venue to my friends

Very poor service we waited over an hour and a half for our meal .

The service was ok but the food was very disappointing! But to be fair I aired my opinion and the dish was refunded in full.

The music was far too loud - like having dinner in a club. Couldn't have conversation. Couldn't communicate with waitress . Things missing from order. Difficult to communicate problems with the bill. Too loud!!!!

Music volume was too high, food was good but the wait was too long.

The food and service was excellent. I ordered a bottle of Rioja which was £35 and it was... Ok. I'd expect to be better than Ok for that price. Music was playing as we arrived and we struggled to hear each other maybe it's a sign of age. They also had a DJ and a Duo entertaining, it also was a little too loud for a restaurant. Other than that it was excellent.

Although the choice on menu is not as good as on previous visits, the food was excellent but to noisy for us. Perhaps we are getting old

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening here - great staff, fabulous cocktails and lovely food. Atmosphere was perfect - place had a buzz to it but nothing over loud or intrusive.

As excellent as always but please invest in the washroom area no maintance or improve the at all cannot understand why ?

Chef: you had one job to provide a gluten free meal as per menu. Epic fail. Why clearly mark dishes as being GF? I ate the chips, you apologised, we had "coffee" on the house. It's still an epic fail.

We went for Mother's Day. The place is lovely, with a great atmosphere. We watched the sun set and listened to chilled tunes played by the DJ. The worst part was having to wait extra-ordinary long times for each course. The restaurant had been busy and they had run out of items on the set menu and had not replaced with an alternative. The roast dinner had items missing from the original description. The staff were friendly and attentive - also the food good, but the wait was unacceptable. The toilets need an overhaul too, they don't match the rest of the venue and are very 'tired'.

Great food , Great service, fantastic location and near the grand theartre which was perfect for us.

Sunday evening, far noisier than our previous visit (Saturday), music was far too loud, therefore all talking was at a higher level. Seemed like whole restaurant was filled with people who KNEW each other (apart from us). It’s fine having friends and family in your restaurant, but don’t neglect or mistreat your other customers. We do love the food, and locality, and WILL return, prob not on a Sunday again tho.
