I requested a table in the bar area with two weeks notice. We didn’t get the table in bar. The food arrived over an hour after ordering. My wife’s meal was considerably smaller than all of the other meals although priced and described as similar in quantity as rest of menu. We had to request a dessert menu and it wasn’t brought to us. We had to ask again 20mins later so that it was brought over. The first waitress that neglected to bring menus was chatting to a particular table for long periods of time. The food quality as a whole was good but the service let the night down.

Really lovely staff and the meal was very good with plenty of plenty of choice. Also a very nice venue. My only slight negative was that we waited so long after we had finished our main course for anyone to notice we had finished, ( I had to go and find someone) we would have had puddings but by the time they returned for our choices we decided it was too late and we nt without. Would go again in the hope that service was a little less slow

We had an amazing meal but unfortunately after we had finished our meal we noted that staff were patting dogs serving food and 1 dog was encouraged to put the paws on the bar to get a dog treat. Another dog was sitting on the chairs. This completely ruined our experience.

A lovely countryside pub, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff! Food was good albeit a long wait for lunch - near 40 minutes. We would return again(if in the area), but would avoid a bank holiday hoping for quicker service.

We were greeted at the bar by a lovely young blonde lady who appeared to be running the whole space. We finally ordered after she returned about 20 mins after seated (we had drinks). The food arrived another 20/30 mins later and it wasn't great. I had chips - there was nothing vegan for me - which were super but Dad really disliked his food and he eats anything! The blonde lady at front of house was brilliant but it was clear she had no support. We visited a few months ago and the food was brilliant but, on today's visit, we'd be unlikely to return which is a real shame

Amazing food, very high end, up with the likes of Augustus in Taunton. A special mention for the Korean Chicken Wings. Attentive waiting and bar staff. With two teenagers in tow and clean plates, who could ask for more? Will definitely be visiting again!

Sunday lunch and the pub wasn’t busy, but still had to go to the bar to order a drink as waiting at the table for a while. Not just us, the table next to us went to the bar to order their food as they were also waiting a while! Food lacked flavour and vegetables were overcooked. No cheese sauce on the cauliflower cheese! Only the meat was good. Won’t be going back. Such a shame as it was excellent under previous owners.

Everyone was thrilled with their meal, the food, and the service. We chose The Bell at Broadway because it was a halfway meeting point for family, and we will probably visit it now as a rest point on our drive along the A303, as it is only a few minutes off our route.

Fantastic food. Choice of areas to sit, so was able to choose a quieter spot which was more suitable for our group. Disabled toilet and no steps made for easy access and were very welcome. Would highly recommend a visit here.

Food came over before drinks, food was 5 minutes. Gives food sat around impression in the kitchen, vegetables was hard. Flys constantly around the table and food throughout the meal time. But can’t fault the staff

Wen waited a long time for our meal and my gluten free pizza was poor, the crust was badly charred and so hard that the cutter was useless.

Chaotic service . Waited 25 minutes for food which did not arrive after wating 10 minutes for initial drink. Seated in alcove dining area away from main bar and other patrons. Left paying for drinks which had still not arrived. Never to be revisited.

The pizzas were very good but our friend who had the pork belly wasn't impressed for the price being charged. It didn't seem a particularly adequate portion either

We arrived and were shown to our table, no order was taken for over 15 minutes, if we’d had a drink order taken as we arrived we’d have probably had a second drink when we ordered food. We ordered the burger an Thai Red curry. The two dishes side by side highlighted a problem, the burger came with fries, onion rings, slaw, and was an impressive meal, the curry was a portion of rice and a fairly small bowl of something that was vaguely curry like (some tinned tomatoes, onion, sweet potato, in a coconut broth), no sides or flourishes. I’d have expected to find a red chilli in the bowl, and a side of Thai crackers? Or something else? It certainly felt like something had been left off of the plate. The curry was eaten in the same time it took to eat half of the burger. The issue here is that the meals were about the same price, but were massively different sizes and qualities. I really enjoyed the burger, but my wife was left stealing chips off of my plate when she was left unsatisfied by her food. The sticky toffee pudding was lovely.

On our arrival, we were first through the door and a lovely girl welcomed us, we ordered our drinks and then were seated, our drinks brought to the table for us. It was nice and quiet and chilled but then some music started playing and unfortunately we had a speaker right above our heads and it was abit loud so I asked if there was any chance it could be turned down abit as we couldn’t hear ourselves speak and my mum being hard of hearing couldn’t hear us talking very well with the music, this wasn’t a problem though and the staff were happy to turn it down for us which was very much appreciated. We had 3 Glastonbury pork roast dinners and a turkey roast dinner, lovely selection of vegetables, tender stem broccoli, parsnips and carrots, cauliflower cheese with leeks, huge Yorkshire pudding and the roast potatoes were so good! Such a lovely place and the staff were all lovely. This was the second time I’ve been here and the first time my mum had been here and she really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
