An extensive menu and a great atmosphere was a good start followed by terrific food and excellent, friendly, service - another visit is likely very soon!

Loved this place. Cosy rooms with room to breathe (no let's squeeze in another table). Great selection of food from Daily Specials to the Menu du jour and the a la carte. We want with the Menu du jour which had three starters, three mains and three desserts. All three courses were delicious and the service was friendly and courteous. Will definitely eat there again.

I went to The Bell & Cross for Sunday lunch with family. The place, the food and the atmosphere were all very good. Staff were very friendly and efficient. I would definitely visit again.

Staff very friendly and efficient. The food was very good. Quantities were just right. Reasonably priced menue. Attractive gardens to have a drink where dogs are allowed if on a lead.

We had a company team evening out, beer was great and the food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the evening the atmosphere was really relaxed and overall a lovely place to drink and eat.

Excellent food but for the price the supporting quality just wasn't there. No bread while you're waiting for the starter, and our waiter forgot the drinks we ordered (and then only brought 2 out of 3!)

Starters were poor in quality main was good desert seemed on the mean side silly as it sound the cutlery reminded me of a very cheap cafe..

The food in this cosy place is excellent but service is sporadic. Although all staff are very friendly and welcoming but then forget about their guests occasionally.

An excellent evening, the food was outstanding! I had slow roasted lamb and my wife had the griddled lamb, both were excellent. This was followed by cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding, both an excellent end to our meal. The staff and service were friendly, helpful and well informed. The only very small gripe is that disabled access is not great, disabled parking is provided but then there are two sets of steps to get to the restaurant. Access is fine once inside, I didn't however attempt the toilets.

A lovely surprise meal in a lovely country pub, good quality food and good service for better than average pub food. Pub nice and quirky in that small various rooms for dining and a lovely country garden.

Visited approx 2 months ago and enjoyed food etc. this time however not so good ham egg & chips for the price was poor with 2 slices of deli ham and not much else to shout about. Japanese style curry was of poor proportions And quality .overall average pub grub. Service was enthusiastic . Won't be coming again.

Absolutely perfect! Couldn't have asked for better food or service. A real treat and we shall definitely be repeating the experience very soon. Thank you for a splendid evening.

We have eaten there a number of times and each time the food was excellent, presentation superb, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We didn't think it was value for money,sorry.Service was excellent but food and wine prices somewhat over the top.We won't be visiting again nor will we recommend to friends.
