We were shown to our table and a drinks order was taken right away, on arrival with the drinks the waitress took our food order which was served promptly. The food was excellent and the service could not have been better.

Just an overnight stop on our way to Plymouth - really friendly staff, food amazing but be warned rather large portions!! Can definitely recommend the cold roast meat platter, perfect if you just want a picky meal

A typical village pub, localish beer, good food and polite staff. Was my local until we moved many years ago and still as good as I remember. The number of people eating is proof of quality and value for money.

Probably one of the most accommodating pubs I've ever been too. From management, to staff, to chefs nothing was too much trouble and the level of detail that went into organising my partner's mother's day meal due to a milk/soya allergy (if you know, you know) was exceptional. The owner and his wife had even baked a separate batch of cupcakes (given to all the mums) that was also milk/soya free. You just don't get this level of detail and thought from other pubs. it helps too that the atmosphere was lovely and the food was incredible. Overall, an unforgettable experience and We'll definitely be coming back
