Really good food, generous portions, excellent and friendly service in delightful historic but cosy surroundings. What more can you want from a country pub? Highly recommended!
Relaxed atmosphere, pleasant professional staff and good food. If you like your service fast go to a fast food outlet. First rate establishment as far as I am concerned.
A superb pub in a lovely setting. The food is excellent and the portions are HUGE. The profiteroles I had for dessert were the size of cricket balls! Thoroughly recommended.
One of my favourite places to go to eat and drink. The service was outstanding and staff very polite and friendly. The food was outstanding and always is. Well worth a visit
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Lovely meal but dessert (apple crumble) was tasteless and apples undercooked) . Great for people with large appetites, especially the steak pie which is highly recommended.
Excellent all round good food polite and helpful staff all our party of four enjoyed the experience of an evening at the Bingley arms in bardsey
Excellent service, staff happy to wait for us to enjoy pre meal drinks outside. Consistently high quality menu. Lovely evening! Next visit will be to try the Afternoon Tea option.
The food at the Bingley Arms was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful would highly recommend and we will be going back
Lovely change to this last visit to the Bingley. Ate upstairs in the restaurant as a private party were using the room downstairs. Food excellent, service excellent, atmosphere excellent! Thanks to the Bingley team.
Lovely historic pub in a pretty village setting, good service and ambiance, and the steak was great! Cooked to perfection, with lovely homemade chips. The staff were attentive and very helpful, without disturbing the diners.
It is a beautiful building, there is plenty of parking and the staff are friendly. The food is fine - nothing spectacular. It was a bit odd because we were in the restaurant upstairs where they were playing music and then in the bar downstairs they started playing live music and it all just clashed.
morrocan chicken a little dry with rice and pickled veg, drinks expensive, but friendly and nice old world surroundings and a lovely beer garden at the back.
Great service, friendly staff and amazing hearty food. Would definitely recommend it. The sun was shining when we visited so we got to sit in the beer garden too.
Lovely old pub, in a delightful village, & nice to think ggggg-grandpa hoisted a tankard or two here in the 1720s! Excellent food, friendly staff! We liked option of reduced size meal, too. Dark beer was delicious, too. Hope to stop by again next trip south.
Took my husband to the bingley arms after a lovely meal, the fish and chips was lovely, service great, the pub is a little warn down, could do with nicer parasols and toilets updated etc.
The food was really good, very tasty and well cooked and presented. The young man who served us was really cheerful and cracked a couple of jokes with us. The pub itself was delightful and it was nice to have drinks and a meal in a pub with such character and history. All in all, a good night was had by all.
A warm welcome and excellent food and service in pleasant surroundings. The pub has a lovely, tiered garden, which is very peaceful and spacoius. Would definitely recommend this establishment.
Very nice meals , excellent friendly service we will defiantly return , when in area ., beautiful garden we have yet to explore , thank you
Sunday lunch was extremely good. Staff attentive and very pleasant. We will return. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience as did our guests. The inn has a very interesting history too.
a lovely pub setting in a quiet idyllic place great food and excellent staff. The quality of the food and portions that are served are excellent. 10/10
the food and service was first class. very busy as you would expect for father's day, yet this didn't deter from the quality of service. we will definitely be returning to the bingley arms.
Very welcoming, customer service oriented and to top it off the food was brilliant. I would definitely recommend it Bingley Arms to families/couples as it is somewhere anyone can go and eat.
First visit and was very pleased. Lovely place and lovely staff. Was quite busy but we weren't waiting too long. Bargain also as it was 2 for 1 on main meals. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning
The quality of the food was disappointing, staff were pleasant and Bingley Arms is in a beautiful setting. I would go back for a drink
The restaurant was pleasantly busy, but not crowded. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The Sunday lunch menu provided a selection of starters and mains to suit all tastes. The food was of a good quality and served hot. We were particularly pleased with the varied selection of perfectly cooked vegetables. Overall a good meal at a reasonable price.
Always good! Table ready when we arrived and never a long wait for orders to be taken by attentive staff. Good food, good service, good atmosphere.
Went here for Sunday dinner, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, fantastic food - very oldy worldy pub with original features. Would highly recommend for either Sunday dinner or evening meal.
Excellent evening out at the Bingley Arms. The restaurant wasn't as busy as the rest of the pub (night of England match!), so we were able to relax and hear ourselves! Service was quick and efficient. There was a good choice on the main menu, but lots of other choice on the "specials" board. My starter of chicken liver pate was excellent, and surprisingly, enough "proper" Melba toast was provided for all the pate! The lamb shank was melt in the mouth yummy, served with a Yorkshire Pudding and delicious gravy (rather than "jus") and minted mash. Vegetables were served separately. My companions' choices of scampi and steak & ale pie were all pronounced excellent. A decent bottle of wine and 4 coffees finished a really good evening and we'll certainly be going again.
great food great service great atmosphere just great would recommend the venue to any one looking for something slightly different the booking of the table was so easy did it online in miniutes
I would normally have given this place a 6 any day of the week. They just seem to be getting a little complacent and letting their standards slip a little - it is still good but it's just not great. The service was also a little bit wanting. Two people had their mains served. Then there was a 5 minute wait until one lot of potatoes arrived. Another 5 minutes before any cutlery arrived, 2 more mains came and then the veg followed by the remaining potatoes, then we had to wait for condiments. The first two diners were half way through their meal before the rest of us had even plated up. The staff don't seem to be able to work together as a team to ensure all the food arrives for one table at the same time. We do still recommend it to lots of other friends as they have a great chef.
Atmospheric pub with the most delicious food. Portions are enormous and the gravy is out of this world. Really helpful friendly staff. We will be back!!
Always good food, good service, good atmosphere. The staff are helpful, efficient and friendly with Ryan at the helm making sure everything runs smoothly at all times.
Lovely restaurant with brilliant staff. Well-priced food that was of excellent quality. Only thing I can think of as a negative was the chimney/fireplace in the Snug needed a good sweep & clean; it was a little bit grubby & the room smelt sooty! A very minor quibble about an excellent venue.
The pub is beautiful, food and service was average Sunday pub lunch standards; obviously a really popular place though, beer garden looks great for summer time.
VERY slow service. When the food finally arrived, one steak ordered medium rare arrived well done. All 4 steaks were dry, tasteless and of very poor quality. Their 2 for one offer on a Tuesday is obviously only possible by serviing low grade food. Other tables were complaining about the service (or lack of it). It's a great shame as this is a local pub with a lot going for it, but we will now go elsewhere for food.
It has been many years since we visited the Bingley Arms. We used to go regularly but stopped when the food became disappointing. It is refreshing to find that the food is of a good standard and the staff and surroundings equally good.
All three diners were impressed with the service and food. We were made to feel welcome and the attention throughout the meal was excellent. Thank you will come again.
The staff were lovely - The food was very tasty - We have been twice and will definitely return to try different things from the specials board. Many Thanks Suzy Galbraith
A nice comfortable pub with very substantial and enjoyable food - you don't need a starter if you are having the steak and ale pie! Good wines by the glass and bottle.
Nice Place With friendly staff and good service. Good Food and beer. I can recomend the Bingley Arms for everyone. Only a short distance from Leeds!
