Lovely food, great service and very nice restaurant… thank you

The food was excellent, even adapted the burger to add black pudding to make it extra special. The service by the two young male servers was excellent too. Was maybe a little slow with the delivery of the food but maybe because we went straight to main courses which take a bit longer to prepare. Hadn’t been in for a long time but will definitely return.

Lovely food, quiet and friendly location. Attentive and friendly service. A great way to celebrate a graduation.

Based on the pictures on the web page we choose to come here . On arrival a great venue with a lovely tree inside but the food presented was definitely not what was on show. Staff was friendly, we had been there for an hour before we received our starters, and then in the total opposite our mains arrived as soon as our starters were taken from the table. Food was good though, starter was quite heavy for me and my wife (haggis & seafood cocktail). Would go back again but would rethink the occasion first. .

I cannot recommend this restaurant. Service was not up to scratch and two of the four dishes we ordered were extremely poor. The seafood salad, albeit nicely presented was so cold as to be virtually devoid of any taste. I'd wager it had been sat in a very cold fridge all day. This was followed by a Salmon dish that was so heavily overseasoned it was inedible. The decent thing would have been not to have charged for this dish but it wasn't removed from the bill. We won't be coming back.

We went to the Braided Fig as a treat on Father’s Day. It’s a lovely modern restaurant and the service was excellent. The Sunday Roast we had was of excellent quality and the roast beef c/w trimmings was delicious. On our previous visits we had 2 slices of beef but on this occasion there was only one slice. We were slightly disappointed in that respect. That said it was an excellent experience and would be happy to return .

Loved the atmosphere, staff were lovely. And the food was delicious 😋.

The staff were very good an dealt with all my needs.. My only issue (which was not really me as I have an open palate) to much aniseed in the gravy, not everyone will like that... I wanted desert but they had no option to doggie bag, which meant a no sale

A lovely meal at lunchtime in a nice quiet venue. We will defo visit again, as food was really nice and a most enjoyable experience.

A great evening meal again. New menu options very high quality. Presentation was excellent. Only down side was the slightly overpriced vegan options. Will definitely be back but maybe only for special occasions.

Service was excellent, very attentive and polite. Food not so good! I had the pork medallions, which read well on the menu, in reality they were dreadfully overcooked and the sauce was far too salty! Does nobody check these things before the plate is taken out, I can’t understand why any caring chef would present a plate like that!!! The table next to ours also complained about a sauce being too salty, I didn’t hear the outcome of their complaint and I didn’t say anything about my dish, I was enjoying my company and didn’t want to spoil the evening.

Service was extremely slow. Only one other table with customers. Food was average. Used to be better.

There was a big group in at the same time as us, or so it sounded like, wasn’t sure if it was a problem per se. Just detracted from the cosy little atmosphere. Overall good night was had by myself and my friend.

Attentive and helpful service by staff. I had the honey and chilli chicken followed by Affogato. It was beautifully presented but was a bit too sweet for me. I would have liked a more variety of vegetables.

It’s been a while since I last ate here and I won’t leave it so long until next time. Delicious food, excellent service and a busy but not too noisy ambiance allowing for conversation over dinner. Well done team 👏🏼

Stunning food, highly recommended to anyone. Wide choice of food on their new menu. Today's waitress Rachel was absolutely lovely. Attentive and knowledgeable without being in your face. Again I'd highly recommended The Braided Fig to anyone.

Went at a lunchtime and we were the only 2 there. Can’t fault it. Better atmosphere at night I would guess.

What a find. Lovely quaint place. Food was amazing. Veganmenu outstanding. I had the tagine and hummus which was so tasty. Partner had the double burger which ge devoured. Dessert was another level. Tidy Mess a clever take on Eton mess with a beautiful balance of flavours, mine was a vegan chocolate and cherries fusion, just fantastic. Definitely highly recommend.

Our waitress Rachael was absolutely lovely! Engaging, always smiling and happy to help without being overbearing at the table. She answered my dad's question with a perfectly witty response which we all really enjoyed at the table and gave us a good laugh. Food was great and we really appreciated some picky amendements being made.

Beautiful menu, lovely, attentive staff and excellent food. What more could you ask for? Excellent wine list at great prices. Recommend the lemon and thyme chicken, rhubarb and custard pannacotta, washed down with a fantastic Chardonnay 😋

The best Sunday roast we’ve ever had in Aberdeen, absolutely unreal and brilliant, friendly service. A must visit!

Everything was delightful! The food, the staff, the ambiance… all of it was enjoyable. I would definitely come back again. The Korean Cauliflower, the Caesar Croquettes, and the Sticky Banana Pudding stole the show for me tonight. We also met the owner and she was wonderful.

A lovely, tranquil atmosphere paired with wonderful food and friendly service. The real fig tree in the centre of the restaurant was breathtaking and the food was creative and delicious!

Unusual dishes, interesting. Hummus starter was made more interesting with mint, spice and fruit. Bass was tasty, but not much of it. Cauliflower a bit too soggy in spicy Thai sauce.

Great food but no vegetables or salads on menu as sides. they will be changing the menu soon apparently so this will hopefully change

We had a lovely evening. The food was fantastic. The cocktails were delicious. The staff were warm and friendly. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. It was great to see it so busy. I would definitely recommend the Braided Fig and give it a well deserved 10 out of 10

First visit to The Braided Fig for some time but much enjoyed! Nice atmosphere, excellent food and friendly service all added up to a lovely lunch. Will be back again soon!

Excellent food. Pity they were half way through a menu change. Would have preferred the customers to have been spread out a bit more through the restaurant instead of all put together in a corner near the window as there were plenty tables available

The Venue was very quiet for a Saturday night, but I have nothing bad to say, the quality of the food and portion size flwas fantastic. We had 3 courses but weren't uncomfortably full. Value was good. I don't mind paying a higher price if the quality is good. Certainly be back.

From entering to leaving we were so well looked after by all staff. Waitress’s were good company and service was excellent. Food was gorgeous and we will be back.

Decent food, decent experience and decent staff. There's a dead tree in the middle of the restaurant. It's a bit quiet but okay. Price is alright, although they add the tip on automatically to the bill, which I don't like. My steak was so so good and flavourful, the haggis Poutine was pretty good.
