A lovely lunch with friends. Menu is a bit different & very tasty. Staff were very helpful with my dairy & gluten intolerances. Worth a visit.

Haven’t been into to The Braised Fig for quite some time, still has a warm and welcoming feel. Our experience tonight was good, Food was really tasty and staff very friendly .

Menu provided lots of choice. Service was efficient and food was fresh and very tasty.

Really enjoyed dinner atmosphere and service. Good value for money all round.

Amazing despite the incredibly rude obnoxious woman making jokes about scottish people sitting near us (not the restaurants fault for obnoxious dinner guests, the food and service was amazing!!)

Food as always was fantastic but experience was dulled by slow wait time and having to pay for sides for mains that used to come with accompaniments included in the price. We were at the restaurant for 2 hours and in this time had 2 courses which is excessive and although the wait staff were nice they kept forgetting when we asked for things. Really disappointed as this was one of our favourite restaurants.

Delicious food, attentive friendly staff. Restaurant week deal is fantastic value for money. One tip - if you want a pudding don’t choose a snack before your starter as the portions are huge. Will definitely be back.

Great food ,great staff , a lovely dining experience again

Sunday roast - roast potatoes over done, skirlie rather greasy, beef a bit too pink. Burger ok but nothing to write home about for the price.

Food was great, for us portions were too large but that’s not a complaint.

Food was lovely comfort food. Service a little laboured. Overall good.

The service was friendly and the food was very tasty. It was a bit noisy at times. I would certainly go back and recommend the restaurant.

The food and service were both good. Though we were slightly chilly sitting in the restraunt. We were sat close to lots of other couples despite there being plenty space to spread out a bit. And the food was served in footery little frying baskets. Which some people like, we jusy found them a bit annoying But overall we did enjoy the food and and the service was quick

We picked a quiet time for our meal and it was between Chritsmas And New Year but it was a wonderful meal throughout. A wee bit pricey though and I don't think the 10% service charge was necessary. The liquer measure I had at the end of the meal was very small. Would go back anytime.

We had to ask for menus as not brought when we were shown to our table, after 30 minutes and asking 3 times we were still not brought the tap water we asked for. We weren’t told about the specials or that a few items were unavailable until one of us tried to order one of the unavailable dishes. However, the food we had was delicious.

Lovely intimate restaurant and food was amazing good and value.Nice waitress and not long to wait for food.Had glasses wine and the glasses were immaculate and shining.Definitely go back.
