A lovely restaurant and friendly staff. The food was amazing!

Pre-theatre meal and the service was very good - attentive and timely to meet our one hour quick turn around requirement. The food was great, however the pork dish could have had more pork ! The Braided Fig is a nice restaurant, with good food, a good selection of refreshments and great staff.

This was the best carvery we've had in a while. The restaurant had a good atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Visited before. This time was to try the new menu. The food was stunning. A party of 4, so 4 starters and 4 main courses. Not one bad thing to say about anything that we tried. Only bad point was we were all to full up to be able to have a pudding. The staff are always lovely and very attentive. The bar is well stocked This fine dining restaurant is an absolute must to try. WE WILL BE GOING BACK

The food & service was excellent & couldn't be faulted. A lovely menu, with plenty of interesting things & choices for everyone. The only downside to me was the stale smell as we entered the building. If this was improved, the whole experience for me would have been excellent.

Food was delicious and attractively presented. Service although friendly was a bit slow and we weren’t offered a pudding. It was for a birthday and I’d brought cupcakes, only one of them was bought out for the birthday girl then had to go and request the other ones for the rest of our group as they were never appearing which I thought odd.

The food was very good & very generous portion sizes but the service was lacking. Maybe it was a case of being understaffed, but we sat at our table for nearly 30 minutes and were never offered the menus nor asked for a drink. There was also a booster seat strapped to our chair when it was 4 adults dining and despite having it sat out on the table no one ever came over. It was a very slow evening, it was nearly 2 hours from arriving to leaving and we only had 2 courses.

The food was excellent and the service attentive. Good value, too.

Service was great, our waiter was fantastic. Food was really good. The restaurant however was absolutely freezing. So much so that I would not go back in winter because we all sat with our jackets on throughout the meal.

Good service to start with. Food was good. However, once it got busy, we were forgotten about. Had very little desserts left at 7.30pm.. this was the let down of our date night. As an restaurant owner this isn't good enough

Prompt service although it was quiet at lunchtime. Food was hot and was Very good and vegetables had taste. Soup was served with sliced bread. A bread roll would be preferable. Would return in the future.

Drinks service was really slow. Had to ask twice for a drinks menu. Food was lovely. Also asked 3 times for water before we eventually got it.

It was a bit quiet for a Saturday night but food was good and we still enjoyed our visit

This year's annual Christmas visit, and the food was not as good as in previous years. May have to look elsewhere for next year. Nice atmosphere and great service.

Lovely, reasonably priced food and friendly, attentive service. Wide range of choices on menu.

Strong smell of disinfectant on arrival, but the lovely waitress soon found us another table which was fine, and she was very attentive and professional throughout our stay. The food was very good, and we had an enjoyable experience, thank you and thanks to the waitress.

Staff - 5/10 Food - 7/10 Atmosphere - 5/10 A bit disappointed.
