Second time since Scott left and great service but missing mine host Would help if new owners made themselves known

Staff friendly . Veggie meal not to my liking. Burger was not a good taste and texture. Son asked for PLAIN burger and received full burger with everything? Had to go back. Husbands sweet had far too much syrup and tasted like chocolate sponge rather than sticky toffee pudding. Still a friendly quality restaurant 👍

Food portions were a lot smaller than previous visits. I had salmon which was delicious but my friend had liver. A little tough but still overall good.

An excellent lunch at the Brickmakers today. The chicken Caesar salad was superb - the chicken being wonderfully moist and succulent. This was complemented by a great rib-eye sandwich and chunky chips that, although full, could NOT be left. I

Good food, but just a little pricey. What I had (Haddock, chips and peas) was comparative with a less expensive Beefeater and a bigger portion. My wife had the beef pie with mashed potatoes and veg. The pastry was just right and the beef filling was plentiful. The starter was £8 for a small portion of smoked salmon with prawns and dressing on top, together with two small pieces of toasted bread. Very tasty , but £8? However, overall, very good and recommended. Just need to save up a bit or win the lottery for our next visit. 😁👍👍👍👌

We normally get lovely food here but today, was disappointing. Over cooked meat and service wasn't great.

Lovely place for an early Sunday lunch, tasty food at very reasonable prices and attentive service without being overbearing. One annoying factor that has affected the rating - I had the steak & kidney pie that, per the menu, came with spinach. This turned out to be one stalk of baby spinach so was disappointed with how stingy they were on the veg and wish I'd known when ordering. Otherwise our experience was a good one.

The Brickmakers is now under new management so we were anxious before hand that It might not be so good there. However, I can confirm that there were familiar faces among the kitchen and restaurant staff so all was well. Our table of 5 all enjoyed our food and our time spent there.

Excellent food and service. Rather noisy when full. Overall enjoyable.

We had lunch with seven of our neighbours and it was excellent. The food quality was very good and the waiter was very helpful and patient with us while we all ordered different things and had to all pay separately! Slightly noisy with all the tables busy but we probably added to the volume with our chatter! Definitely will go again.

Did not like a dog jumping up on my guests prior to lunch, and no apology from the dog owner or the staff

Always enjoy going to the brickmakers, they have great food and drink. Service was very good, waitress really friendly, i had the seabass special, it was very nice.

Good reception on arrival. We got the table I requested. Very good selection of food on the menu and the daily specials on the blackboard. Service slightly on the slow side( quite busy). Good overall.

Good food , and nice service, obviously a popular venue very busy for a Saturday lunch. Good extensive menu and a great specials of the day, Offering three types of fish. Will definitely return. Friendly staff and a well designed interior. Great place for any occassion.

Lovely food and friendly staff, tables are quite close together so the noise level was a little louder than we would have liked, sometimes it was distracting.
