A lovely dinner with friends for my birthday. The team were so accommodating making room for a friends buggy and nothing seemed too much trouble. The menu had a great selection and we all enjoyed our meal. We will be back!
Did not realise how busy and noisy it would be on a Friday night but what i can say is the manager and his team were excellent as well as the food, The food was very enjoyable and presented superbly. I have been mid-week which was far better. But congrats to the staff.
Lovely food and good service - our second visit and not disappointed- this is a half way meeting point with good friends and is perfect - thank you we will be back
My wife and I had an excellent day celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. An indication of how popular this place is; we had to park at the very rear of the over-spill back garden parking almost into Sunningdale golf course, and we enjoyed the walk through the gardens to get a drink. It's nice to be recognized when arriving at any venue, and we were promptly shown to our table with two glasses of champagne. We both opted for similiar meals from the comprehensive menu and started with half pint of shrimp and crab cocktail. They were literally in a half pint beer glass full of crustaceans with a light fresh zingy sauce without a hint of tomato ketchup, accompanied by three perfectly toasted baguette rounds. We had selected two glasses of Provence Rose for this first course, that was fresh and earthy, and perfectly chilled. Our mains were two smokey cooked fillet steaks and golden chips cooked in goose fat. I have an aversion to balsamic vinegar, and now as a precaution, I always order food with the proviso that, however unlikely, no BV comes anywhere near my plate. This was fortuitous as my wife's salad dressing was hiding a sneaky drizzle of the dreaded dressing that chefs love so much. To me, BV is a cross of two things that I love; Marmite and honey. But I wouldn't dream of mixing the two together. To go with the mains we selected a delicious Pinot Noir at very reasonable price. Neither of us had the room or fancied a sweet course so we went for a shared platter of British cheeses, and were mightly impressed with the offers from the counties of England, particularly the blue from Oxfordshire. A full tasting stilton competitor but slightly moist rather than the artery clogging oozyness of the full Leicestershire. What made it even more yummy was that the cheese course was 'on the house' for which I again thank the hosts Scott and Alex for a lovely lunch.
Great food, lively atmosphere and attentive service. There are a few pubs in Windlesham but The Brickmakers has absolutely nailed the food / gastro-pub experience.
Once again fantastic food, but it doesn’t stop there, the staff are just the best..they really cannot do enough for you.Just try it for yourself you will not be disappointed
As always the food was excellent, staff friendly, and very efficient. I would recommend this establishment for lunch or evening meal with family or friends.
Beautiful food, well presented and good size portions Very polite and helpful staff and pleasant surroundings. This was our first visit but will certainly visit again
We were a party of six. The food was excellent as always and the staff very accommodating when we asked to switch from our booked table in the conservatory to a vacant table in the garden (the weather was very good on the day). As a side issue, I managed to leave my credit card there but, again, the very helpful staff member I spoke to on the phone sent it to me the following day.
Excellent food and service. Nice surroundings and good atmosphere. Would recommend as a good location for meeting family and friends. Will definitely be going again soon.
We booked the Brickmakers after a friend's recommendation for my wife's birthday - 6 of us. The service was outstanding, the food really good, with a very interesting menu - everyone in my party enjoyed the experience- only one small downside, a large party exiting their table adjacent to us were standing around for ages querying their bill with the Manager - should have been dealt with us away from us in my view.
The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, we were put by a fire exit, which the staff used for work, so we were disturbed during the meal and made us a bit cold.
The food was fantastic. Very good service. Enjoyable experience. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for Sunday Dinner or any other occasion. Will certainly visit again
Fabulous lunch! The Brickmakers never disappoints with the quality of food or with the service they offer. Have to say, it is one of my favourite places to eat.:)
Excellent service and excellent food. I had the crab starter which was delicious, the cod as a main which was beautifully cooked and beautifully presented. Will return for what looks like many more excellent meals
i cannot recommend this pub highly enough, it was one of the best roast dinners i've had in a long time. The service was also fantastic with all of the staff being very attentive, an all round positive experience and comes highly recommended by me.
Always a lovely experience at The Brickmakers, busy Sunday lunch and yet they managed to serve us promptly and attend to our every need. Very efficient and friendly service and good value for money.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch with the family. Food amazing, Service attentive and atmosphere welcoming and lively. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for lunch with family or dinner with friends.
Having first visiting the brickmakers in 2002 it has never failed to give us excellent service, food and value for money.we have now moved out of the area but happy to do a round trip of 100 miles to go there. Today it was a special birthday and once again left feeling the journey was well worth it.
Wow well what can I say! There are no negatives! The food was to die for, the staff and service were beyond professional, helpful, kind and caring! You can tell the staff love what they do and 100% care for their customers. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will most certainly be returning very soon
Consistently good food, great service and friendly staff. Varied menu with plenty to choose from, maybe a few more vegetarian dishes could be offered, would recommend.
excellent food excellent service a bit difficult to chat as very very noisy. Could not fault the food though delicious especially the crab starter and belly pork
The service was excellent as always and food once again delicious Could not fault it in any way and already looking forward to next visit.
This was our first visit to the Brickmakers and we’ll definitely return soon! The food was excellent as was the service. It was our son’s birthday and he was given a balloon, a candle in his dessert and the staff sang happy birthday!
Food was fantastic, price was great, service 6/10. Took 15 minutes to be asked if we would like to order only because a spare menu was unaccomponied on the table... i dont get it. Previous times have been a 10/10 but tonight just let down a little bit
Food poor quality and tasteless. The roast Sunday lunch was served very quickly and the rib of beef was fatty and grisly. Very crowded and noisy.
Very accommodating: Late booking - couldn't book a table for six online, so booked two tables for four and two. Phoned in the morning and they arranged two tables together but best of all the food was great, excellent service and very friendly staff. Highly Recommended.
A fantastic meal, both very happy, the pork belly was delicious. Quality of the meal was matched by the quality of the service, perfect all round
We have eaten many times at the Brickmakers, it has never lets us down, its our go to Resturant for Really friendly helpful staff, Fresh and tasty food, with a relaxed atmosphere.
Along with many, many people The Brickies is for me, my family and friends our first choice when going out for a meal locally. A varied menu that suites us with excellent food, good quality and decently priced. A good and not expensive wine list. The atmosphere is good and relaxing with knowledgeable staff who obviously want to be a part of The Brickies but are never intrusive. Scott and Alex have set out their stall to perfection. They with their Chef have obviously gone out to find the best suppliers to give consistent sourcing. Do have a good appetite when lunching or dining! Am spreading the word with friends and winning. Best, Ian Worrall
Excellent food and service, would recommend to my friends and go again 👍
Have been here many times and always have had a great meal and excellent service. Ordered sticky toffee pudding and it was rather hard I mentioned it and when the bill came it had already been taken off. That is what you call 5 Star. Well done. We will still be back as it is a great pub.
Excellent food, great service and very friendly staff We had an enjoyable meal. The food was excellent, service very good and staff friendly and helpful.
Good food. Excellent service. Well maintained venue. Good value for money and an extensive menu with plenty of choice. All food was cooked perfectly, will certainly be coming back again.
The food was lovely. Our only moan is that we were in the restaurant longer than we hoped (three hours). Not great with 3 hungry boys and one tiny baby
excellent food . great value for money. pleasant efficient staff. made to feel you are important. car parking problems have been addressed with additional spaces added. lovely garden, although not able to take advantage on this visit due to weather. Lovely
Great food and service no probs at all - limited menu on a sunday but couldn't fault food or service- bar was a bit busy as usual when we got there
Always great food and fantastic service. We are early and it was packed so make sure you book
The ambiance was extremely welcoming. My meal was exceptional, monkfish and another fish, beautiful crisp veg with salad. The wine Shiraz was very palatable. ✅
Really nice pub with lots of seating areas inside and out. The lunch menu was really varied and covered light meals as well as larger portions.
