We got there earlier than our table was booked for and they managed to fit us in half an hour earlier. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The waitress asked us if we were ready to have our main courses, and we didn’t feel rushed at all.
Great evening out, great starter, main and dessert. The staff was friendly and very attentive highly recommended. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. First time at the Brickmakers, will definitely go there again! Reserved a table, and so glad I did. Highly recommended!
As always, excellent food, ambience and service. Have been going here for a long time and standards have never slipped. Well done Mr and Mrs Scott!
Excellent food, service and ambiance - a very good evening enjoyed by all. Cannot recommend highly enough - thank you! Will definitely be back at sometime soon.
Pleasant staff, good food and nice place .. what more can you ask for. Good choice for a lunchtime menu and good size portions. Recommended.
Best steak and kidney pudding ever! Didn't get to the rest of the menu, but it looked pretty good. Noisy due to hard floors/no soft furnishings.
Excellent menu, we were spoilt for choice! The staff were so attentive & helpfull & there was a great atmosphere. The food definitely didn’t disappoint, we’ll definitely be back again!
Fabulous roast dinners including massive yorkshire's and extra veg and gravy if required. Really great service - someone is always on hand to help. Plenty of parking - highly recommend!
Brilliant food and excellent service throughout. Will definitely be returning soon and would recommend to anyone. The roast dinners are amazing and they really look after children aswell
We were shown to our table straight away. Excellent and prompt service . Good menu choices that did not disappoint on delivery. A totally enjoyable evening.
An excellent lunch with the family, in all ways such as diverse menu, attentive polite service, well cooked copious plates of food. We would go back.
Excellent food and service as usual. Cannot recommend highly enough. Went there yesterday for wedding anniversary and really enhanced our day . Thank you to everyone at The Brickmakers
Staff were ever so polite and friendly, the food car rather quickly and was presented perfectly on the plate! The cheesy garlic bread was to die for!
High quality cuisine, generous portions, good vfm, pleasant and efficient staff. Couldn’t fault anything. Will definitely be returning. Essential that you book in advance. Superb.
Celebrated my wife’s birthday with our grandsons and their partners and had a great evening. There were obviously a few other small parties being held there, but the service throughout was superb, attentive but never intrusive. The goats cheese and haggis rolls proved popular starters and three of our party loved their main course selection of chicken stuffed with Brie. There was an excellent choice of fish ‘specials’ and I really enjoyed the wild sea trout. The ‘youngsters’ weren’t going to miss out on the popular dessert selection, which rounded off a memorable evening.
Food was really good with a good menu and a few specials. Service was attentive but in a very friendly and relaxed way. Really enjoyed the evening.
Always guaranteed a great meal, friendly service and a lovely way to spend time with friends - you never feel rushed to leave - thank you
Usual very good food and service as this was the third visit in as many weeks it speaks fro its self , thank you Scott
I highly recommend The Brickmakers. The food is outstanding. The staff are friendly and very attentive. Reasonably priced for the food and service. A lovely lively atmosphere.
We had mixed up the timing for meeting our friends but they managed to fit us in on a busy evening! Service was perfect from all the staff. The four of us all chose different dishes and it was all excellent. We will be back soon!
Great service, great food and great atmosphere. Refreshing to find an interesting non chain menu of freshly cooked food. Tables just off the bar area are lovely.
Friendly staff, great service, lovely atmosphere and wonderful food - what’s not to love. We went after numerous recommendations from family, we will now be recommending to our friends.
Little noisy this time as there was a birthday party.. can’t be helped.
Fabulous as always! Food excellent as were attentive staff. Birthday balloon produced from nowhere which was lovely touch. Overall brilliant dining experience and will definitely return!
Had a delicious Sunday lunch today, great value for money. Service excellent, very friendly staff look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend Keith and Paula Hopkins
Great food & service as always this place is consistently good with varied menu and attentive service from the staff. If you’re in the area definitely worth a visit !
The Vegetarian menu choice was limited but what was on offer was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive and service was excellent.
Excellent food, service and ambience Will be back soon! Really enjoyed the menu and the specials board. All in all a great evening out. Thank you
Great food as always, husbands birthday and of course he will always choose his favourite restaurant we always receive a warm welcome from the staff
Very tasty sunday lunch, served by efficient and friendly staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. A typical “heart of England village pub” with a very nice garden.
The staff are always cheerful and very willing to ensure that the customer is happy. The food arrives quickly, and is delicious. Surroundings are exceptionally clean and convivial. The style is informal, thoughtful, but not intrusive. The Brickmakers' gets top marks every time we go. We're regulars and they make us feel like we're part of their family too.
I love The Brickmakers, it’s fantastic food, wine is reasonably priced and it’s got a great ambience. We went on a Monday lunch time and there were plenty of people there. That says a lot about a place.! Would highly recommend, but I don’t want it to get so popular that I can’t book a table 😄. Great walking around too if you want to walk off your lunch.
A great find! Lovely rural location, with a footpath leading into the woods beside the pub. A light and bright interior, with a choice of seating in the bar or in the restaurant. Very pretty garden, with a covered area providing shade on sunny days, and a selection of cosy corners to sit in around the garden itself. Excellent and varied menu at a reasonable price. Our food was well presented and very tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Had Sunday lunch and the roast was good but the desert was very disappointing. The sticky toffee pudding was hard and not nice at all, which was a shame because the accompanying caramel sauce and custard were good. Service good and staff very pleasant.
Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere and great service. Steak was cooked perfectly. Lovely choice of children’s meals too. Thank you for the birthday balloon. Will be back soon.
Great service and the quality of food was excellent along with really generous portion sizes. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great too with all of the tables being full, bit of a party atmosphere. Will definitely return.
As usual the service and quality of food was fantastic and very good value. Had the goats cheese starter . It’s the best goats cheese I have ever had. Left a large tip for my waitress.
Lovely food and beer garden to enjoy a drink with colleagues in the autumn sun. Dog friendly also which is a plus point and a good selection of drinks.
The venue was quite cold when we got in there, ambience brilliant. My husband was looking forward to the steak and kidney pudding, unfortunately it was the only thing that wasn't on. Apart from that terrific
