All ways a lovely meal. Although last night's portion of chips were a bit ropey, they looked a couple of days old.

Atmosphere? It was 1pm in the day. Weren't really expecting atmosphere. Great place to meet an old friend. Will be regular, monthly

We had been told by many that this is the best restaurant in the area and after our visit we agree and now wouldn’t risk going anywhere else as the food can’t be any better. Try the House Sizzler ! The service was excellent with quick food delivery and our waiter, Bruce, was so attentive and his so pleasant personality made it an evening to remember. See the utube review ‘Gary Eats’ 10/10 which is how we scored it. Looking forward to visiting again soon when staying in the area or passing M42 J4. Taunton Boys loved it.

Have been here a few time's now.. Great price's, staff friendly & helpful.. Food good... Gladly recommend Definitely recommend the covered wagon sizzler... Ohh they sell cobra lager... Perfect for a curry!

Fantastic! First time and exceeded expectations… not been here for about 20 years (was a sizzler pub last time!) and they have done a fantastic for out. Great to see somewhere busy, buzzing on a Friday night! Arrived early, straight to table and Bruce was straight over to help and take drinks order…. Starters came quick. Fish Pakora , Paneer To share amongst 3 with poppadoms and pickles. Very generous portion and one of the best starters had!!! Bruce checked before mains came that we were ready, had photos taken (a birthday meal) and the mains equally as good as starters! Great quality, piping hot and although quick service no rush at all … We will be back… well done team Wagon for an amazing meal

Returning customer for the umpteenth time would not go anywhere else. But be careful choose your times it gets very busy in the weekend evenings.. And children can be an issue due to lack of parent control (should be banned under 10 years old.)

Lovely evening, staff were great food great value for money, the only negative I have is that my booking was for 6pm, and we were fully aware it was a 2 hour slot as we were told when we arrived and also by email, but with at least 30 minutes to spare I felt that we were rushed out.

It was ok food was spicy and all tasted the same . Very busy lots of kids .. went after watching you tube videos and wasn’t as impressed as I was expecting , would I return ? I wouldn’t make a special visit but if I was passing I might pop in

We ordered the mixed grill which is tasty. The staff are nice and provide good service. The environment is comfortable.

The food was excellent however the restaurant is far too noisy which spoiled the experience as we couldn’t talk to each other.

I came here for my girlfriends birthday. We were amazed by the friendliness of staff and short wait time for the meal. 10/10

First time I've been to The Covered Wagon and can say it’s will not be last. The food was amazing. The food arrived hot and quickly and was really good. The only thing I would say was that the service wasn’t great we had to ask for table water a number of times but it was Saturday night and they were busy. But other than that it was a good night and we will be back.
