We booked a table for 5 for my son's birthday. Saturday nights are usually hey for restaurants (as too The Craddock arms). However, we had excellent service and the food was presented well and all presented in. Timely manner. Well done. thanks

The place was packed which surprised me for a Thursday night and I was glad that I had booked in advance. I had the lamb rump which was excellent, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Excellent range of Everards real ale along with guest beers, as well as the usual range of other beverages.

The restaurant was busy but we were served very quickly and then were checked on to make sure everything was fine. The choice was good and the meal was of a good quality, well presented and hot,

Gorgeous, light, comfortable, old-meets-modern surroundings, superb service, and tasty, home-cooked food at reasonable prices. Sunday lunch menu gave the full-house option of lamb, pork, beef, turkey and nut roast, plus others and 3 specials so plenty of choice (although nut roast was only veggie offering but this was very tasty and not dry as some nut roasts can be). All the trimmings and best roast parsnips EVER! Good choice for non-veggies on the dessert menu too. Desserts were not marked as vegetarian on the menu and, when we asked, there was only one veggie dessert - luckily the Chocolate delice was amazing. Will definitely be back - including our vegetarian!

The food was excellent as usual and the staff friendly. Our table was very wobbly and we were worried that our drinks were going to be spilt when it moved.

Lovely atmosphere. Staff friendly. Food delicious. Booking on the Internet was very easy and quick reply. The menu has choices for everyone’s preferences. I did find broccoli wasundercooked but apart from that all was fine

Due to allergy, I requested beforehand, not to include prawns in the fish pie. The request was not implemented, leaving me disappointed. The fish & chips meal I had, was greasy, leaving me burping all evening. The staff were not friendly at all. I will certainly not be returning back to this restaurant again.

Food was good especially the lamb pie daily special. Food is priced fairly and there are a good selection of beer and drink to choose from.

we visit every two weeks we always get treated with respect and the service is excellent, I always take an elderly friend and they really look after her. nothing is too much trouble for them.

Food was reasonable and what you’d expect for pub-grub, nice steak!. Price was also reasonable and good value for money. Sadly, it was not up to the excellent quality we experienced on our last visit approximately two years ago.

The Cradock never disappoints. Great staff and great food. Service was attentive without being imposing and the meal was faultless. Fish pie is a personal favourite.

We booked a table for Friday 11th January at 17.30 as we were celebrating a birthday and had children in the party do did not want to eat too late. Despite this being one of the Cradock's busiest times they gave us a table which was suitable for us (they even called me to discuss choice of tables) and the service and food were excellent!

Overall a pleasant evening out but the food was very disappointing. I'm not sure if the Cradock is under different management since I last went but an overcooked rump steak (requested medium rare) and very underwhelming accompaniments for £15.95 won't see me rushing back.

Good food - we had four different dishes between us. A little busy (6.15pm booking) so took a little longer than we would have liked.
