Very friendly and efficient service. Lovely table and excellent food. Our party consisted of 4 adults (one of whom is on crutches) and 3 children aged one, four and six. The staff could not have been nice! Would definitele recommend this place!

Good food and drink. Only negative was that we felt rushed being the last table to be seated. And it was through a reservation as well.

This pub has a very good atmosphere, with a friendly service, nice restaurant corner which isn't to noisy, and I also found the food tasty.

Eat here about once a month, food always really good. Had fish and chips for the first time on this visit and it was delicious. Service always good too, lovely staff

Great pub, great food. The only downer is serving food on slate instead of normal plates. The sound of the knife cutting food is like nails down a blackboard. Awful.

A nice local pub serving a creative selection of good pub grub a reasonably priced wine selection and a decent pint. I use this place reasonably regularly to meet up with groups of friends.

Went there with our family including 3 children. The service was very friendly and efficient and the food lovely. The only thing which could have made the experience even better would have been for the venue to provide something a little extra for the children, eg colouring pages and crayons. This would have lifted the experience from super to superb!

We eat here several times a month. The food is always great - we have old favourites, but sometimes there are tempting dishes in the specials (if the twice-cooked belly of pork is on, definitely!). Ambience in the restaurant is good. (JohnP)

Very disappointing. Paid £16.50 for a 'special' of Turbot with crushed potatoes . It was a tiny piece of fish with potatoes but no vegetables. When I complained I was eventually brought some green beans. Too little too late. Complained to the owner who apologised and said we have your details we will be in touch. 10 days later not a word.

I have been to The Cradock for a meal on several occasions. The surroundings are always very pleasant and clean, and even when they are busy there always seems to be plenty of space. Also, the staff are always very attentive without being intrusive, and are extremely pleasant and accommodating, even when items are requested which are not on the menu for that particular day. It is one of my favourite places for a lunchtime meal.

Always enjoy our meals here but I do think waiting 45 minutes at lunchtime is too long. I only have an hour for lunch, however food is still very good.
