The Cradock Arms

Good service, good choice of food and drink combined with reasonable price made this a happy family event. It was easy to book and to park.

On the whole good, but did feel the person who took our drinks order was somewhat judgemental. We were 5 adults and 2 small children, after ordering six non-alcoholic drinks (4 adults were drivers) the person whose birthday it was ordered a beer (he was not driving) to which we got the remark “at last someone’s ordered a proper drink” whilst being responsible drinkers you do not want to feel you should be ordering alcohol - perhaps he was on commission

I enjoyed my meal with my Grand daughter. The food was very good and the staff friendly and helpful I will be going again soon. Graham.

Our visit was as usual excellent ,lovely food,polite service,good parking area.we will be back as weus this as an easy place for our birthday get toethers

Have been to the Craddock many times and have never had a bad meal, last nights meal was no exception. Our waitress was lovely and the service was prompt. I would always recommend the craddock for a pleasant meal and evening.

the food is always top quality we go back every two weeks and we never get fed up of it.

We had a delicious meal. Two of us chose ham and eggs with the best chips so far this year. The pie and mash were also excellent. only reason not a 5 star review was the fourth person ordered a chicken salad which was delicious but a small portion. Overall a great visit as always.

It was a good table friendly service. Food was good quality and presented very well. The meal didn’t get to the table very quickly and I noticed this...hence not a 6.

Lovely meal with friendly and attentive staff. There were only 4 or 5 other tables eating but we felt the wait for food was noticeably long. This is the second time we've waited a long time. Last time we went we waited an hour and a half and they admitted they had mislaid the order and/or the chef hadn't seen. Luckily the food was good and evening wasn't spoilt on either occasion. Needs mentioning though.

Came here for a birthday dinner 12 people. Food came out altogether and was excellent as usual.

Service was excellent, but the Greek salad was very disappointing. £7.00 for a very small bowl of iceburg lettuce, a few chopped tomatoes and very little feta, did not represent good value for money. For nearly the same price I could have had the large beef baguette, that came with a side salad and fries ! It really didn't make sense and was a bit of a rip off really. Disappointing !

Great food and excellent service every time I come here. Staff are very attentive and friendly and always a good selection of food which is served fresh and hot

A lot of the vegetarian menu items were not available. One of us came as specially for the mushroom Wellington but when we were told it wasn't avaliable we ordered another dish that you only had one avaliable and two of us has ordered it. Then when we choose another dish it was not enjoyable.

Excellent quality and quantity food. Nice garden to eat in on a warm summer evening. We have been there a few times and it is always consistent.

Despite being extremely busy we were very satisfied with the service that we received. The drinks, food and staff were all excellent and contributed to an enjoyable meal.

Came here for a meal to celebrate our daughter's graduation - Lovely food (good selection) and a very pleasant atmosphere, staff were polite and helpful.

We had a first class meal at the Cradock Arms and would highly recommend it. The meal was well presented and served with a nice selection of fresh vegetables. Would definately go again.

We have been going to the Cradock for years now every week and birthdays weddings etc. We like the food and the staff who have changed over the years but still maintain high standers v/good and intend to continue

Food was delicious and tasty, staff are friendly. I had the Mackerel for starters and loved it.

We were given a good table near an open window (it was a hot day!). Drinks were served quickly, food took longer but was worth the wait. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The food was beautiful and cooked well. My personal choice that there wasn’t enough choice for me. Not everyone wants a roast on a Sunday and i dont always want cheese over my veg

great, as ever. The Cradock never fails to deliver good, tasty food by friendly, helpful staff. Really busy last night with everyone in the sun and a wedding, but no slacking on service. Pleased to see prawn cocktail on the menu, just hoping it will get reinstated on Sunday lunch menu.... Please.

Very understanding, friendly and accommodating staff. The menu doesn't change that much but the food was good and presented well. We have used the Cradock on many occasions and it has never failed to please.

The staff were friendly and helpful and quick to ensure we had all we wanted. Food was excellent and well presented and the waitress came back just after we had started eating to check everything was ok. A lovely evening

atmosphere lovely and friendly, waiting staff very helpful and happy to answer or find the answer to any food queries. Food was delicious, nice and hot, six in our party and everyone mentioned how lovely their meal was and that was for all courses. Only tiny glitch was the long wait from starter to main but the dessert arrived within a reasonable time. However the food was obviously freshly made would definatly go again, excellent value for money but make sure you book!!

Been going to the Cradock for years! Lovely atmosphere whether you're sat inside or out in the garden. Lovely food and very polite and helpful staff.

Serving staff we brilliant, the only reason i gave a slightly lower score was because my mother's pie was slightly over cooked, but she still enjoyed it.

The menu offers a wide range of appetising offerings. The food was well prepared, cooked and presented. The service was very good, too. Sadly we were too full to sample the desserts!
