Excellent food and service a fantastic place to eat and drink

Wide ranging, tasty menu. All staff always polite and professional.

Nice Sunday lunch, fancied cheese and biscuits but £8.95 seemed a little expensive. Will go back.

We only wish we lived closer so we could come more frequently. Visited on our holiday to the Cotswolds and the food was incredible. We spent over two hours eating, drinking wine and talking and weren’t made to feel rushed out at all by the staff which we loved. Can’t stress enough how delicious the food was here and the menu is so full of choice so something for everyone. Will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!

Sunday lunch was poor, gravy lumpy and Yorkshire pudding undercooked Service extremely slow, asked two waiting staff for pudding menus So slow we decided not to have pudding as a result

This was the first time we had been to this pub the restaurant was very nice and clean and the service was very good and prompt and the meal was cooked well and tasted very nice would definitely return for another meal

Had a nice sunday roast. Our table had a lovely view. We had our little one with us in a pram and there was room for this next to the table.

Fast service amazing food wonderful staff ,keylime pie for dessert is a must,only thing is it's not dog friendly shame as I think they are missing a trick here ,but definitely worth it

We enjoyed our visit and the food and service were brilliant.

My husband and I came there to celebrate my birthday, we had looked at several local restaurants but didn't like the menus (too fancy and arty), but the Edgemoor had just the right amount of choice to suit us. We both enjoyed the experience.

A very nice evening with good food and excellent service. Very attentive staff and nothing was to much trouble. The Edgemoor has always been a great place to go for food or just a drink, outstanding views. It has been a favourite of ours for many years.

Lovely venue with amazing open views of Cotswold between Gloucester/Stroud. Excellently stocked bar, Restaurant very clean/ lovely decor/seating with views and plenty of tables. I have always booked, but not always needed! FOOD ALWAYS VERY GOOD! as eaten there 5-6 times in last 6 weeks-Excellent choice of starters/main courses/ amazing puddings! Only negative is staff rush guests to order meal ie 2-4 staff kept asking if we were ready to order within 10-20 mins of arrival every time I have visited:( even when Restaurant/bar not busy!! So this was annoying, as when meeting family/friends- it nice to have drink, chat and look at menu before Order-but staff constantly pushing us to order bt maybe as they only serve meals until 9pm bt our table last night was booked before 7pm! Middle aged man/Manager (Owner?) who does bar/bookings could have been more welcoming/friendly! -just need to work on customer experience and hospitality. Also maybe serve gravy/jus on side rather than flooding dishes so customers can choose amount they want. Otherwise lovely food as always.

.Felt rushed initially when just seated and pounced on to see if we want drinks.Quite a long menu with rather a lot to read through . This slowed service down because as elderly takes a while to make decision.Butwill definitely return .

Good choice of menu which is reasonably priced. Service was quick although it wasn’t busy at as we were lunching.

Good food, freshly prepared so it took a bit longer, but I prefer that. Sat outside as no dogs allowed inside. Wasps are a serious issue and are a detriment to enjoying the lovely scenic veranda. A visit from pest control is necessary to isolate the nest. On Saturday three groups left without ordering whilst we were there.
