With elegant white table cloths and traditional Chinese decor, The Empire Restaurant creates the perfect setting for enjoying a classic Cantonese meal in. Located on Bowfell Road, this quaint restaurant is a favourite among the Chinese cuisine loving population of Manchester’s Urmston, dishing up all of the old favourites with plenty of meat, seafood and vegetarian options on the menu. Share some dim sum like the sui mai (steamed pork dumplings) or fun kau (deep-fried prawns in crispy pancakes), before moving on to some sweet & sour spare ribs, sizzling tiger prawns in a satay sauce, Sichuan-style chicken or crispy shredded beef. Those feeling adventurous will find plenty of authentic options to go for like the birds nest dishes and frogs legs, while veggies will be spoiled for choice too with dishes like the pagoda bean curd.
