Great curry, would recommend the chilli chicken, naans are also lovely and homemade

Lovely Indian restaurant in Newark, located well and food has always been delicious when we visited.

Was a regular for us when we lived in Newark, great ambience and staff always friendly.

modern design, looks very elegant. Food is very tasty. At evenings and weekends it costs more as they do not tend to have one of their very good deal set menus.

The restaurant serves excellent food and provides very good service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a better than average Indian meal

Great service ,really delicious food- mixed Kahari recommended- ,nice house wine .We only ones left in restaurant late on but not rushed out. Definitely recommended.

Food was great, service was poor. Apart from taking our order and bringing out the main course (didn't have a starter) that was the last time we saw anyone. Drinks were empty. Was going to have a dessert. After sitting like lemons we eventually went to the desk to pay our bill as we were fed up waiting . Didn't have anyone checking if every thing was ok. Didn't see a dessert menu. I'm surprised I didn't have to go and cook my own dinner. Needless to say I didn't leave a tip. My only tip would be to go to the mint leaf where the food is as good and the service 100% better.

Lovely location with views over river Trent however the food was average and we were disappointed. Waiting staff very friendly and lovely atmosphere. True potential.

The food and atmosphere were, as always, great. Unfortunately the service was quite slow. The staff were very courteous and well turned out. We were happy diners

Excellent service and gorgeous food. Staff could not do enough for us. The food was great and very reasonably priced. Will most definitely visit again.

There were insufficient number of waiting staff to cope with the number of diners; service was slow and we had to ask on a number of occasions for courses/drinks. Alternatively, additional training amongst the waiting staff to better manage customer service is an option.

Great food good service at a reasonable price , have been there a few times now and I can only say how good it is.

Food was delicious and staff are so friendly, I have an intolerance to Milk and thought I would struggle to eat here but I was told I could order whatever dish I liked and they would alter the recipe for me. Brilliant service

Great food let down by not being able to cope with how busy they were at 7.30 on a Saturday night. Would visit again when they aren't as busy.

We visited on valentines day, was slightly busier than usual.. They seated us at the table and didnt give us a menu, 10 minutes later they came and gave us the menu. We then ordered our meals. The starter came within 10 minutes, my partners starter looked completely different to how it was described on the menu. After finishing the starter and waiting for the main course it took around 35 minutes for our food to come. When we had finished the food our plates were sat infront of us for a good while before we decided to ask for the bill, no waitor was around the table to we had to go upto the desk and ask for our bill. We then waited another 5 minutes, the bill came and there were popadoms on our bill which we didnt order. There was a party of around 13 people sat near us and the workers only seemed to care about them than all the other people in the restraunt. I could see many other people getting frustrated aswel. Food was OK, but service was terrible.

Excellent service from the moment we came into the restaurant to when we left. Had the £15 'early bird meal deal' which was good value, well presented & tasted excellent. Well worth a visit.

Great restaurant for large groups. Excellent service and food. Great for children as they will adapt to remove or add to dishes. Caters for gluten free too.

This was my first time eating indian food, nice restaurant, relaxed feeling, food was excellent food, service was great, will delinitely be returning. See you next time :)

Great food, excellent service. Good range of non meat items. Rice pudding is to die for. Service could do with speeding up but it was peak time Saturday.

We love this restaurant and, as always, we had a lovely meal in a great atmosphere. Attentive service from delightful servers added to the experience.

Overall a very enjoyable experience. The food was of a good quality and the staff were friendly and efficient. Our only gripes were it took a while for us to be seated at our table initially (although the Cobras at the bar helped) and whilst my selected dish was extremely tasty it wasn't 'hot' as advertised!

Very good all round experience. We went with a works do and this was my first time at this venue. Staff helpful, food delicious and great surroundings. Will be going back!

Great curries - some of them a bit "unusual" because they are Nepalese. The fish curry and chicken in mango sauce were both really tasty. Good service and good value for money too. Recommended

Nice service and very good food. The Sunday lunch special was great value, if we lived in Newark we would come back every month. We were all surprised that that the place was not full.

As usual wonderful food, great service and friendly staff. The lamb cops were perfection the lamb shank was so tender it just melted in the mouth and the spicing was superb.

This is a favourite restaurant of ours. I am dairy free and the chef is always happy to adapt dishes so that I am able to eat them. The food is exceptional (Hariyali lamb is a favourite of mine), the service is excellent and the staff very pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Excellent meal & Staff, you should try it, you will not be disappointed. Been several times now and never had a bad meal. Love the decor and white tablecloths.
