Slow service, booked table given to someone else, warm food, long queues at the bar and not enough staff for the amount of customer. Lots of complaints from other people.
Food quality was good. The organisation was crazy. Dropping other customers food off for us. Card machine not working. Not how it should be.
We arrived at 1-25. Ordered drinks and food at about 1-35. Drinks were no problem. Ordered more drinks, no problem. At 2-20 asked a waitress about our order. The reply was what would you like. Explained that we had ordered at least 45 minutes ago. Sorry. No order taken. Left and went to the Three Horse Shoes (Running Waters). First class food, first class service. Won’t bother with the Farmers Arms again.
Very annoyed that we were not informed that we would have to pay in cash (or on-line banking) until after our drinks had been served.
Food ok but when came to pay no card machine so need to take cash we are miles away from a cash machine and had both had wine I now have to go back tomorow with cash. no apology or work around just not good customer service
We have been coming here now for a few months as a couple and we now bring our parents as we!!..good fantastic so is the service very friendly and welcoming
Had a lovely Sunday lunch with friends. Really enjoyed the meal. Proper Yorkshire puds. We had beef which was lovely cooked to perfection. Service very good. Friendly staff. Would go again.
The food was delicious and the portions were huge They also had a good selection of ales It was not expensive at all and they also have very good offers throughout the week
