Spent New Years Eve at The Farmhouse had a fantastic time Lovely staff, made us feel so welcome Great food great atmosphere great time T

Awful. We booked weeks in advance and yet when we arrived was told there was a half hour wait. Absolutely no apology was offered. We had a child with us too who wouldn’t want to wait. We were not even offered a drink whilst we waited. We left because of the poor customer service and having been told that even when seated there was a delay on food. Shocking service and would not go again. Went somewhere else instead and had a wonderful meal.

We arrived to a quietish Farmhouse just after 2pm. We ordered food soon after and unbelievably it took almost an hour for 2 steaks and a burger to arrive. Had we not complained it would’ve taken longer. To add insult to injury the steaks were lukewarm and during the wait the waitresses didn’t once come over to either apologise nor offer us a drink. When settling the bill no discount was offered. I will never visit this place again.

Had to wait for table although it was booked!!! Afternoon Tea sandwiches were a little dry round the edges after waiting 40mins for them to arrive. Scones heavy and sweet treats 2 out 3 options were chocolate, lemon tart raw pastry. I would not return for the cream tea but staff friendly and nice atmosphere.

We requested to make a pre-order for our food because we do not have long for lunch. We specifically requested our food to arrive at 13.15pm because our lunch break is only from 13.00-14.00, however the food arrived at 13.40-13.45 which made us rush our food. We was late back to work by 15 minutes due to this. Maybe a pre-order option should not be an option at the restaurant if it is impossible for the food to arrive on time? Other than that, we enjoyed the food, it was very lovely and the service was good.. Thank you

booked for 3.45 wasnt told the kitchen closes at 4oc so didnt get a chance to have a pudding so had to go to another restaurant . also menu was very small 5 mains and only steak at the weekend ? i wont be going back thats for sure wasnt what i expected thats for sure.

The service was super slow, and the roast dinners decidedly average. The vegetarian roasts came with NO roast potatoes which was so strange! Disappointing, I won't go again.

First Time Visiting For Dinner And It Was The Most Amazing Beef Roast Dinner!

The menu had good choices, a nice selection. The quality of the sausage and bacon was very good, you can tell a cheap sausage, but these were amazing, both the sausage and bacon were very good quality. The staff were lovely, really attentive, made you feel relaxed. This is now going to be our regular meeting place for breakfast, brunch, lunch. Plenty of spaces in the car park

Waited a long time for food. Maybe due to the time we booked it for a lot of the food had run out. In a party of 4, 3 had roast dinner and the food was sparse. The roast potatoes were at best unpleasant it appeared they had been cooked hours ago and were the last ones left. I will eat here again although not for a Sunday roast.

Family of 5, opted for the roast but was left disappointed. Vegetables were grey & overcooked, 1 slice of thin fatty meat which they did change. Just wasn’t very nice sadly. The children’s fish & chips & chicken & chips were dry. The sundaes went down well though. A real shame as had a nice feel. Wish there was more to do for older kids, like a outdoor slide/climbing apparatus. The soft play is perfect for toddlers.

Lovely venue, the food was amazing, the variety of dishes made it difficult what to have, which is a good thing as I have already booked to go back and will try another dish, staff where very welcoming and happy made you feel relaxed, entertainment was amazing too, good all round, highly recommend a visit here,
