Delicious food with amazing service!! Definitely have a scone as it’s superb!
Nice atmosphere. Nice waitress - Teresa. Food was good - roast dinner (tiny thing - it would have been nice just a little hotter). Would go back and would recommend.
Great food, brilliant entertainment! We had a great evening and will definitely be back.
Friendly staff - great brunch. Dry stale scone served with cream and jam already done - I would not recommend that!
Great place to take the kids and good food as well
No table ready when we arrived. Slow service and food overall was disappointing!
Food was great as usual but the wait time was too long. Large function was being held and it seems that their was no additional staff to assist.
Had a nice time and good food at the restaurant. Service was a little slow and is quite noisy in there so not as relaxing as you would like from an afternoon tea/farmhouse. Could hear quite a bit of complaining from other tables regarding service etc but we didn’t have a problem
Friendly staff, excellent service and amazingly good food. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely mother’s day atmosphere lovely with balloons & free glass of fizz. We all had a roast dinner this is the 2nd time we’ve been & really enjoyed the food both times & staff are really friendly.
I've been wanting to try The Farmhouse for a while, and i wasn't disappointed. My only grumble is that our desserts were made at the bar, and i'm not sure how i felt about that. But it still tasted yum!
Lovely food and great staff thank you we all enjoyed our food and will be back very soon
Understaffed. Waited and waited for food, had to ask waiting staff for the rest of the food. Had to find condiments myself. Staff disinterested.
Great food, great staff. Would defiantly be returning and recommending this Resturant
Delicious food and very friendly, professional service every time :)
Really enjoyed our lunch, the atmosphere was relaxed and the team friendly. Will definitely be going back! Thanks
We waited a long time about an hour after our arrival . The food was ok. The service was ok
Staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is great. Loved the sandwiches and the cakes. Little it disappointed with the scones as they were really dry but overall great afternoon tea experience
Enjoyed a very tasty breakfast. Good friendly service. Good cappuccino.
Good food, good atmosphere, good service - would happily return!
Amazing waffles and chicken and great service, what more do you need!
I booked afternoon tea for my Mum’s Birthday. The staff were very accomodating to our dietary requirements and super friendly when we arrived. Everything was just as we requested and was delicious. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Lovely place - food prepared with care. Only area that could be improved is waiting time to get bill and then pay it.
Chicken n waffle was to die for, great place tastefully done, not to Essexed, nice house lager as well,
Food had been sitting for a while so veggies and potatoes came out cold. Rations on gravy and food in general for the price charged. Place was cold and service was below par
Poor service. Meidocre food. Part of pur order came out late and when it did come out, it was missing one of the elements. Halfway though the meal, this dish was taken back to the kitchen and ‘replated’ with the missing element. Hardly an apology and no offer to take item off the bill.
Very enjoyable lunch with very good food and excellent service
Booked a table for 5 for lunch with some visitors from abroad, on arrival we were kept waiting for 5-7 minutes even though the restaurant was practically empty. The chap on the counter continued making tea and the waitress chatted to the only other customers at their table. Finally seated we ordered lunch and after 25-30 minutes wait we called the waitress over to mention we had to head back and if we could hurry up on our order she told us they didn't have any more fish due to an accident - fish was what a couple of us had ordered! so we then had to re-order something else very quickly, and eat and leave in 15 minutes. I wonder how long she would've waited if we hadn't prompted her? So generally poor customer services, kept waiting at the door then kept waiting for our food and only when prompted the waitress told us they actually weren't able to provide us with what we ordered. The actual food was good though and no complains there.
We loved the venue, it was cosy and styled in a unique way so it was nice experiencing a different atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and there service was great also! The food was good...no gravy came on my roast and the hot pot wasn't fully cooked as it was cold firm and cold in the middle, however this did not effect our experience and we will be back!
Good honest food, very generous portions, steak was perfect. Cosy atmosphere, family friendly as the small but we'll stocked play area is a big bonus for weary parents! Friendly service. Worth a visit.
We were told there was a wait for food which we understood, but then we realised we had been waiting an hour and everyone else has been served even people who came after us. I had to go to the coffee counter and ask a few times what was happening. The cafe owner was sitting on the table next to us and finally got involved. If the staff had even asked us if we had wanted another drink etc they would have been made aware. We were just ignored. Food was lovely when it finally arrived. Wouldn’t rush back due to the lack of customer service.
Great service and great food! Had a wonderful brunch today (Saturday). Staff were super friendly and attentive, can’t wait to go back again! Halloumi fries are a must on any visit!
Very nearly there. Definitely in the right direction and exactly what is missing in the area. The quality of the produce is really and good and great that it is locally sourced. l I’d personally think the roast beef should be cooked rarer to showcase the quality of the meat. Also, roast potatoes should be crispier.
We booked it online and on arrival seated really swiftly and staff were really friendly with the food tasting fresh and farmhouse beer spot on!
The breakfast was amazing as usual and Theresa looked after us really well.
The food was very nice (except for the gravy which was very watery), and we had great service from Teresa. I would definitely recommend the Sunday Roast
Really lovely place and food was amazing and reasonably priced. We all ate from the brunch menu but at weekends this crosses over the weekend lunch menu so lots to choose from. Lots of space and quirky surroundings.
Great food. We love going for brunch. Tasteful decoration and good atmosphere. Friendly staff. They look after families really well. Colouring, children’s cutlery and a play area!
Only ones there but bad service and terrible food Wife's salad was just leaves and mothers pride bread instead of sour dough with the tapenade Think they were getting ready for news years eve but we feel let down , we used it a few times mainly for breakfast but won't be going background
Friendly staff. Nice seating area. Skinny breakfast was good. Nice sausage. Not served overly hot. Avocado n poached eggs good but disappointed with the smoked salmon. Did not look very appetizing. Cappuccino was not overly hot either. Will definitely give it another go.
