It was our 1st visit & we will definitely be back.

Really good Sunday lunch with good service. The Farmhouse has an area for kids as well so happy all round!

Lovely breakfast, great atmosphere and fantastic play area for kids.

Woefully unprepared for a busy fathers day - goodness knows how you are going to manage the lunchtime rush when we waited 45 minutes for breakfast. This could have been made easier by an apology, order update, drinks refresh but all of these things had to be chased - including condiments!!! Such a shame as I really wanted to love this place

Food was nice, excellent staff, singer good but was disappointed as website advertised 2 rooms of music which they never had so once singer left it died. We was looking forward to a dance - we would have gone elsewhere had we known. Although we were told we could dance - not really a dance floor and music not dance music.

Nice food but shame about long wait. Staff lovely as are the surroundings.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch really good menu with plenty of choice food very well presented and really tasty.

A great breakfast. Bit of a wait for drinks to arrive, but would definitely like to visit again.

The wait was horrendous, excuse was that they don’t use microwaves and they had a party that was taking up their priority basically. Food was average.

The mains came out before the starter. Then she brought out the starter half way through eating for our roast dinner. Never got a sorry and other staff took our plates all grumpy and didn’t ask if anything was alright. Said nothing. Food wasn’t worth the £16 paid for one slice of fatty beef. we love our breakfasts here but would not ever return for a roast ever and would not recommend to anyone

It was our first visit and it won’t be our last, service and food was great 👍🏻

A great place for Sunday lunch! Family friendly, but also good for anyone who just wants good food!

Waitresses are quite slow and don't take much notice of customers as we had to keep calling them over to be served, we also didn't get any water for the table and we ordered olives which we didn't receive. Food was ok but not the best. I would go back as it is a lovely place and a good selection of food & drinks but there is room for improvement.

Lovely restaurant, great ambience, love the play around for kids, food is delicious. Only criticism would be small portion sizes for the price.

Perfect for brunch, from the full Essex to the fish and chips. Always really great food and service.

There were 11 of us for breakfast, overall it was excellent service and we were looked after very well, , but we were not aware that the orders were taken in two separate ones to make it easier for the kitchen, so we paid the bill then told we had a second bill. Had I known I would have made sure they had added the two together.

Really good roast however the two vegetarian options were both Butternut Squash so not very imaginative, there also seemed to be not quite enough staff on, we werent able to order until half an hour after arriving at which point my children were starving.

Food was disappointing, very bland. Expensive drinks and food for what it was.

Food was ok, service was ok. Nothing to warrant a return visit. One starter came lukewarm and looked undercooked and despite sending it back still got charged in full. Was told that dish comes like that and a lot of people complain yet the restaurant hasn’t taken those comments on board

Morning breakfast with the family was superb here at the farmhouse. Great atmosphere, brilliant food and lovely staff.

It was a bit disappointed as it wasn’t as great as our first visit. The Popeye smoothie had very hard bits and was not drinkable. The salad came with chicken burger was bitter. Service was good and fast as last time.

Lovely food, nice atmosphere and friendly waiter, overall excellent !

The service was poor, drinks took 20 mins, food took 35. When the food arrived the breakfast was cold, beans had gone hard. The chicken salad has 3 tiny bits of chicken and I asked for the caesar sauce on the side. At first there was no sauce, when I asked again they brought over taksizi sauce!

We had a great Sunday lunch there. Really lovely food.

Nice music but many noisy customers unfortunately. Food is nice but probably a bit overpriced.

Music a little loud at times and a bit of a wait today but other than that, I love this place - food is excellent and that's what's important.

Such a fantastic place to go with children as they can be entertained in the play area while you eat yummy food. The kids menu is also fab!

Food was nice but we didn’t get what we ordered. My boyfriend asked for a chicken burger and got a beef burger and I asked for chunky fries and got skinny fries.

Lovely visit, good service considering the place was packed. Food was all tasty, spiced chicken leg was on the small side so not much chicken , other than that all was good . Been here a few times now would recommend booking as saw people that hadn’t being told waiting time for a table was around 1 Hour at 2 pm. Looking forward to our next visit .

Great service lovely atmosphere Staff very helpful and polite. Do anything for you. Would and have recommended to anyone.

The place and atmosphere is very nice but the quality of the food doesn’t give justice to the price. Too expensive!
