A small restaurant serving well presented, Delicious food, and reasonably priced. Easy to get to with free parking in Eden Square. Will definitely go again.

Excellent meal and wines, it always is there, one of the best bistros to eat in for miles around. The desserts are to die for

Food was very good but long delay between starter and main. Service not great, couldn't understand why the young waitress turned away potential customers at 8.30 who hadn't booked in advance when the restaurant wasn't full and no one arrived afterwards.

Good service and excellent food, well-cooked and prepared. Nice clean environment with plenty of space between tables. Faulty main door resulted in cold draft constantly filling the area but I am sure this will be fixed. An excellent experience.

Had a main course and a dessert both of which were excellent but the service was a little slow even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy.

The food is always Very good. We both had fish dishes which were cooked perfectly, fab dessert, service and ambiance spot on too. We love this restaurant.

Lovely meal but the restaurant was chilly when people came in. The (I presume chef) was a bit shouty when asked what the fish of the day was. Well laid out and crackers nice touch.

A great evening. Lovely food, and friendly service. Only slight negative is that menu is very limited for non- meat eaters. Two of the fish dishes I might have tried had bacon in them as well, which meant they weren’t an option, but the pollock I had was very tasty. Will definitely visit again.

Staff were friendly when we arrived, warm and cosy. Food - Great main (I had the pie of the day) 3 other people was with had Sunday roast Two enjoyed other felt was a bit too salty Two people had deserts - both were enjoyed!! I didn’t like the choices of desert but there was 5 to choose from - I’m just picky ! :) Nice afternoon would go back .

The menu although limited was thought out food was cooked well. The staff were very efficient and attentive always asking if all was ok and you did feel rushed

Excellent and well presented food. Imaginative menu, and well cooked. Very friendly staff, despite being extremely busy. We had a thoroughbly enjoyable evening. Reasonably priced considering the quality of the food.

My husband and I went to the Flixton on Saturday evening. We both had steak which was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. The wine was good also as was the service. Will definitely go back.

Excellent food and service. Just perfect. Food is very high quality and excellent value for money - you leave feeling well nourished. Highly recommended. Varied menu and, with notice, as everything is freshly prepared, all types of dietary requirements can be accommodated.

Service good. Generous portions. More green vegetables and fish mains would have been welcomed as would a specials board. Black Forest Gateaux - Far too much chocolate and no sponge, but enjoyed the sorbet and cherries which accompanied it. Poor choice of cheeses.

We had a very enjoyable evening. We were welcomed into a warm, relaxed atmosphere and received great service. Nice menu choices and the food was really tasty and well presented. What a lovely local restaurant! An asset to Urmston's high street!

Excellent early meal ... beautifully combine flavours. Loved all courses. Service was great, friendly and efficient. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommend try it once and you won't be disappointed.

When we arrived I thought the restaurants decor looked rather bare, the table and chairs looked quite simple/basic. The staff were welcoming and friendly and quickly took our drinks order. We were a party of 4 and nobody had eaten here before. We all ordered something different to each other and the food was AMAZING! I cannot wait to go back, stunning food.....!

Honestly don't know why we don't come here more often,couldn't fault the food or the service,although I would like to see the pigeon starter make a return.

For whatever reason the service was rather slow, which is why we decided not to have desert, sadly. Impressed with presentation of our meals. Will give it another go to be fair

We had an amazing Sunday roast with all the trimmings. The Yorkshire pudding has enormous and delicious. Fantastic value for money. Great service. Would highly recommend.

We thought the food was excellent and superb value with their midweek offer. Almost rated a 6 but thought perhaps service could have been a little quicker. Will certainly go back though.

The food is consistently fab, fish is always cooked to perfection. I had a very tasty pork loin dish from the new summer menu and both the desserts I tasted were spot on too, a pannacotta with a ginger ice cream and a deconstructed Eton mess. Service was also very good and the offers for two or three courses make it excellent value for money.

The Flixton was really nice with very friendly staff. The food was excellent - every course was delicious and really well presented on beautiful crockery. We thouroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal.

We have been here several times, and the food and service were as good as ever. Great food, reasonably priced, means that we shall be back again soon. The chocolate fondant dessert was especially good!

The Restaurant is clean and well decorated. This was our 10th visit and we rate it as one of the best two restaurants in Urmston. The food is always interesting, of good quality, and nicely presented. We went as a party of four and our two guests were impressed with the overall ambiance and food.
