I have always had a good meal at Gedling Inn. The Sunday roast was delicious. Good service by a lovely friendly staff.

My two friends and I (plus two dogs) went for lunch and, as ever, we had a lovely time. It is the friendliest pub I’ve ever been in and the food is excellent.

Friendly staff, even though the pub was busy we were served quickly and food came just as quick. We had a lovely Sunday dinner with plenty of veg, we will definitely be going again for Sunday lunch and highly recommended.

Service was good and the server was friendly. The food was ok but the chicken was a little dry and the peas were overcooked and reheated. I think I was overcharged for the chicken as it says it’s £15.95 on the website and I was charged £17.95 but meals were 2 for 1 which is great. We were told they only had three desserts to choose from as the chefs had gone home. I feel like they should be there till all diners have left it was before 9. We got there at 7.30. I thought desserts were 2 for £10 but we were charged for both at the price they were, maybe I read it wrong. The deserts we did have were good though. Overall it was ok, the server was lovely and it’s a nice atmosphere. I would possibly go again. This was my first visit and I like to give places another chance

Substantial menu choice and all at a great price. The food was cooked beautifully and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend.

Food was good as always but was disappointed to find our table was in the bar not the restaurant area was very noisy and couldn't hear our children speak. Would have been nice to have been told about party as we would have come another night.

Arrived to find it was a limited menu. If not wanting sunday lunch then very little to choose as alternative. Website did not say sunday lunch only or I would not have booked it. Hubby ordered meatfeast pizza and it had very little meat on it. Overall very disappointing

Have been here previously and the food & service was so good & have done nothing but rave about the place. Tonight was a different story! They had sold out of the carbonara so we ordered the pizza & dirty fries instead. These came out but without our tables other food. After waiting 5-10 mins I went to question it at the bar and they told me the other order hadn’t gone through. So again had to wait for the rest of our food too come out. By the time the rest of the food came out the pizza was cold. Overall the dirty fries was dry the service wasn’t the best & the wait time for service was shocking! Won’t be back for a while.

Staff were very quick and attentive, did not receive phone call as to what choice of food so very limited choice. The food was nice but of choice offered only the turkey dinner was the only one we would eat

Perfectly cooked steak! Great accompaniments. All well cooked not just sides! Great service. Loved the live music, wasn’t expecting that but love live music so a massive positive. Would have bought a warm after drink meal and sweet but guess we were a bit late. Maybe next time. Definitely be back. Massive improvement on any meal had here before.

Service was excellent, we all enjoyed the main course it was lovely. Sweets were ok but the cheesecake was very sickly and not set, the crumble topping tasted undercooked .

The food was amazing. Lovely Sunday roast. However, we felt a little left after the dinner plates were taken & we had to ask for the dessert menu & then where our desserts were.

Heavily over cooked fish, which was by no means jumbo in the slightest. Undercooked chunky chips. Peas like bullets. For the town price they charge, I was expecting quality food. Instead, it was a very disappointing evening out and we certainly will not be using here again for food.
