The Grapes Restaurant in Hyde is a traditional British pub serving contemporary food in the centre of Gee Cross. The menu is influenced by European cuisine and fresh Mediterranean flavours which is evident in dishes like panko-coated halloumi and beetroot-cured salmon. If that sounds too refined for your liking, never fear because classic British pub food is also served at The Grapes Restaurant, ready to be washed down with premium craft ales. We recommend the beer-battered haddock with chunky chips and mushy peas, or a juicy sirloin steak smothered in peppercorn sauce alongside grilled tomatoes and mushrooms. This historic pub is well-known throughout Hyde and has been situated on Stockport Road for over 100 years. Recently renovated into a casual and atmospheric restaurant, book a table soon and taste the delicious food for yourself.
Lovely food good service but I think restaurant could do with updating This wouldn't stop us booking again, however. if the food was as good elsewhere with better surroundings we would probably choose there.
