Delicious food every time! Loved the music but it's a little loud if you're sat by the speaker. Always enjoy meals here. Good choice of beers too.

Nice place, very good food, very pleasant people. All at a reasonable price. Felt welcome and enjoyed our evening. Would definitely recommend it, and would go again.

1st visit. Excellent! My husband is a very fussy eater, so I made the choice to eat here after viewing your menu online. We/he were not disappointed. Pleasant staff. Very accommodating of my husbands request for alternatives to the menu! When we are staying in Harrogate again, we will definitely eat here.

Lovely hotel very central. Best breakfast eaten in a while! Restaurant nice but waited a while for our order.but did not spoil evening as nice surroundings and live entertainemt

Excellent atmosphere, great beer and good menu at fair prices. Light dinner jazz live seven nights a week. Central Harrogate location with street parking or a nearby public car park.

Very welcoming, pleasant and obliging staff, lovely food, would definitely visit again when in Harrogate. Turned up early and were still given a very nice table near doors as very hot. Would thoroughly recommend.

Really nice restaurant with live jazz. Good quality meals and choice, friendly, helpful staff. The only negative was a poorly selected cheese accompaniment to one of the parties burger.

A very popular restaurant, the food was of very good quality, the black pudding scotch egg for starters was really good, they have live jazz most evenings if you like that genre of music, very relaxing and staff are very pleasant. Overall I would say it's not a top restaurant but nonetheless I would definitely revisit on my next visit to harrogate.

Food was amazing service great and staff warm, friendly and hospitable. Most definitely will return. Even a lovely gesture to fathers as they received a gift for father's day.

Lovely food with a super talented musician playing. The atmosphere was very relaxed and romantic. The only thing I would say is that it was extremely warm inside when we first got in, but we were by the window so that’s something that can’t be helped on a hot summers day!

I booked a table for 2 on a Friday night for my husbands birthday on line. We visited the day before and selected a table overlooking the music area. On the night we had a 3 piece jazz band playing in the background which gave a very relaxed atmosphere. We both ordered starters, duck salad and prawn cocktail, both were very tasty and just enough. For mains we had the salmon fillet and chicken breast both delicious. We had the bottle of Prosecco on Friday night offer and several reasonably priced Leffes. Chocolate based desserts followed and then the cheeseboard which finished off a wonderful meal We usually eat 2 courses when dining out, as this is sufficient, but what made this evening so special was we were there for 3 hours as the portion sizes meant we could manage more and it made it a special ocassion. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and when we asked for the bill were very surprised it had worked out very reasonably. We will return on our next visit to Harrogate which is always during the Tour of Yorkshire and strongly recommend this venue

We had the set menu which was two courses for £14.95. Food was great value and really nice! We sat outside on a sunny day which was lovely and the staff were really friendly

Excellent restaurant, good ambient atmosphere, Food was very good, would recommend. Only downside was we were seated a little close to the music so couldn't really hear each other too well, overall a nice place though.

Food was delicious. Some of the best in Harrogate. Everything we had was well cooked and the service was excellent. Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

A quaint set up, efficient staff, middle to top end food. Decent selection of drinks. A comment made by staff which I overheard let it down. The best assiette of desserts! I'd go again.

We booked a table to enjoy the early dinner menu. Unfortunately this has changed from our earlier (and very enjoyable meals) there is now very limited choice so we gave up and ate from the standard menu. Our meals were perfectly good save that one meal was smothered in coarse ground pepper. We removed what we could of the pepper but did not enjoy our meal. The waitress decreased our bill in a kind gesture to respond to our comments but taking all in account - very disappointed. Not a patch on the quality or value compared to the previous early dinner menu.

Beautiful and unique pub, delicious food. Staff were pleasant. Good atmosphere. All round enjoyable time. Will definitely come back again in the future and try the full menu.

Very enjoyable Sunday Roast, great portion sizes, more cauliflower cheese brought when we enjoyed it so much and extra gravy! Children's meals fantastic too. We will be back.

Great location for a long lazy lunch. Open doors with the sunshine streaming in helped. Friendly staff. One of the dishes wasn’t quite right but it was replaced immediately. Delicious food, particularly liked the rhubarb crumble.

The best prawn, salmon and crayfish starter ever! Thoroughly recommend. Pork main was also exquisite. Very reasonably priced considering the standard of culinary expertise. Will most certainly be returning on my next visit to Harrogate.

Great food nice atmosphere - sticky toffee pudding not quite as good as mine! Nice unobtrusive entertainment. Attentive waiting staff without being in your face good value

Food was pretty good but not as good value as it used to be. Have to order vegetables on top of already pricey main courses which then makes them very pricey. Live music was a bit too loud so felt we were shouting at each other across the table. Service was excellent as always. The Brasserie has always been a local favourite but lat night was a little disappointing. I hope last night was a one off.

Fantastic meal at the Brasserie tonight. Such a lovely atmosphere with the Jazz band who were excellent and made it a very special evening. Very good value for money...

Very good meal from the early bird menu, staff very helpful...all good. The jazz was starting at 8.00 when we needed to leave, but it sounded really good.

All around great experience! Great location within easy walking distance to all of central Harrogate. Boutique hotel type rooms with great restaurant/bar serving delicious eats with jazz or acoustical performers evenings. What more could you ask for ?

Service good ,food decent,starter very good. Have Had better Sunday lunch for less money.Had to ask for extra gravy which was only a small jug for two people,so much so that we had to ask for more later.

attentive staff spoilt by mediocre food, lamb rump tough, black pudding balls also tough, cod fish small and uninspiring, two chunks of chicken same comment. The music far too loud for conversation levels, under previous management nice jazz, now raucous singing/shouting. We had intended to stay for more wine but couldnt stand the noise. Previously it was very good why spoil a good thing

Hotel dated but very clean and tidy. Room small but great for one night. Location hood for town centre. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful. Only thing I didn't like is toiletries big bottles in bathroom to use prefer small individual ones but that's just my preference.

My wife and I had an excellent Sunday Lunch this last weekend. We enjoyed the décor, service and ambience of this lovely location. Some excellent touches like water on the table in advance and a bread basket were nice touches.

Not as good as in the past. No jazz to accompany lunch. No fixed price menu. Doubt will go again which is a shame as I looked forward to it when in Harrogate.
