The Harrogate Brasserie Hotel

Food excellent, service very good, maybe a little pushed to order but not bad. Very disappointing to find the jazz musician hadn't turned up, not told and no other music to compensate until after 8.00pm But all in all a pleasant evening.

Excellent food and service . Great ambience and well positioned in the town. Will certainly try to get back soon Would recommend to any visitors to Harrogate

we were made welcome on arrival the food was very good and the price was right the atmosphere perfect we have been before and will be back again I had 4 friends with me and they loved it also and when we left we thanked all the staff for a wonderful evening thank you once again I have told all my friends to when in Harrogate to call in they wont be let down I was just telling people to day how good it was once again thank you

Great service and very tasty food. We had the 2 course set menu (available before 6:45pm) which was a real bargain and a great pre theatre location.

The food was delicious as was the wine and the staff were really efficient, knowledgable and friendly. The music was great too. I’d definitely go again.

The food was really lovely. There was a nice casual atmosphere. Music was great. Very talented duo. Sat near a speaker, which was really loud.

We visited the Harrogate Brasserie on 2nd February, it had only re-opened that night after refurbishment. It's the second time we have eaten there and it didn't disappoint. We chose from the 2 course set price menu and the food was excellent, everything was freshly cooked and well presented. We will definitely go back again and would highly recommend the restaurant.

Lovely restaurant, great friendly staff. Food delicious and a live band to keep you entertained while dining. You couldn’t ask for more. Just one think to consider if you don’t want the musics too loud ask for a table in the room to the left, as you can still hear the music but you can still talk. The Harrogate Brassiere is definitely worth a visit.

Overall the meal was very good and the menu selection suited all tastes. It was appreciated that slight adjustments to the choices were acceptable keeping my fussy family all happy. Service was therefore excellent

It was nice and the staff were friendly. But it was a bit slow getting drinks and food. Fish cakes were a bit bland but the chicken main was lovely. Price was ok we had 2 courses for 15.

Nice looking boutique hotel & restaurant, we were seated quickly on the upper level, the food served was presented well and tasted scummy, there was a band playing whilst we were there which can be quite noisey if your sat to close, otherwise a enjoyable experience

It was a wedding anniversary celebration and I chose this restaurant out of the many in Harrogate. It has superb ambiance, delicious fare and very efficient and friendly table service. Suffice to say we were not disappointed!

Lovely tasty food, great value for money and a quirky little place to eat. First time here as not from the area but will definitely be back.

Xmas menu very good value for money, three of us all enjoyed our food, good portion sizes. Staff friendly even though busy, good live music.

Nice atmosphere with live music, good service and Timothy Taylor’s Landlord on draught is always a plus. Sadly the food was only average. When you go out you are really looking for something better or different than you can serve up at home. It really didn’t pass that test.

Although busy due to Christmas party we never feel rushed or ignored. the service was good and the food excellent. our third year coming for a festive treat.

Food and service good. Would have given it full marks however entertainment in there was very loud which made it difficult to talk in the group we were in.

Interesting authentic surroundings. The £15 early bird was great value for two courses. The confit duck was well cooked and then he portion was large.

As always the food was excellent, the service friendly and the atmosphere splendid, enhanced by a very good musical performance which is a hallmark of this establishment.

The food was very nice. Deep fried brie was a touch bland. The mains steak was well cooked and the accompaniments were well balanced. The service was very good. Only negative observation was the volume of the live music. The sax was incredibly loud as we were positioned directly next to it. Would suggest addressing this. The music in itself was inoffensive, if again a bit dated. Did it add anything to the evening, over what a CD would have given, then the answer is no and the could have accommodated another table in that space. All in all good value.

Excellently cooked meal (mushroom starter was fabulous) and the service was friendly and at the same time unobtrusive. All of this topped off with excellent live jazz music

Lovely food in great surroundings. Only disappointment was that the veg accompanying the Sunday roast was a bowl with a few cubes of parsnip and carrot with not a green to be seen

Wonderful Sunday lunch, food, service and ambience brilliant! We will be back for the Christmas Menu with friends who frequent The Brasserie regularly. It is one of our favourite places to dine.

Amazing venue with good food and great live music. This was our 2 nd visit and not disappointed, really great night out. Could do with a venue such as this nearer to Manchester.

Food was excellent however I recall during the meal being attended to by at least 6 different staff members which was a bit worrying although I'm sure procedures in place to ensure orders where tracked. All staff where professional and courteous in approach.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great food and service. We had the early bird menu and did not feel under any pressure to vacate our table even thought it was a Saturday evening. Enjoyed the live music. Would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Very friendly and helpful staff with good quality food and good service. Also has nice live music to set the ambience, yet not too loud to interrupt conversation.

Lovely food and great jazz at the Brasserie, more particularly on Thursdays when Nicki Allan plays. Always love coming to the Brasserie. Service is excellent and food consistently good.
