The Hollybush Inn

Refurbishment was excellent. New staff as well. Very attentive. We had to wait for our meal so given complimentary bread and olives. Disappointed with menu choices for steaks. No mixed grill or ribs. The guys chose fish instead and enjoyed it though.

Found the cost of the fish and chips expensive for the mediocre quality of the food

Had a great time at the Holly Bush, Nat was a brilliant server and delivered an exceptional service. Food was brilliant and the prices were very fair.

Food excellent, plenty of staff but the service could have been better. The cauliflower cheese came midway through the meal, the table was dirty I asked for it to be wiped, never happened. If the service improved it would be excellent.

A very pleasant experience, we enjoyed our meal and the Staff were all very helpful and cheerful. We wish them well.

We’ve been regular Sunday diners and brought two Aussie friends - one them rated their roast as their best ever!

We used to be regulars here, and the Pub has had a complete refurb since our last visit, and it looks wonderful now. Friendly helpful staff and the food is excellent. Would highly recommend the hollybush to anybody

Beautiful food apart from my husband ordered trio roast , the lamb was substituted for gammon ! This didn’t reflect in the price 🤔

The food was Lovely, the place has been updated, now looking bright and clean.

Service was slow,poss. due to the large number of customers. To run out of milk with an almost full house Was poor control.

A quiet night, but the restaurent has been very nicely redecorated and the food was very good. One small problem with gravy being on the plate, rather than in a seperate jug as requested, but rapidly and pleasantly dealt with. Much better than our last visit and we will be going back soon

Becoming a regular visitor, as consistent service and quality are the order of the day. Sunday lunch is very good quality and value for money.

Staff were great, food was fabulous and service was amazing, thank you was a great experience, we will recommend.

Undercooked fish, then new fish was overcooked. Bbq wings were very spicy and chicken burger had far too much paprika.

Meals 3 of us ordered were wrong and quite oiley. It would be a good idea for the staff to write the orders down.

Food great. Waited an hour from arriving for meal but we were happy to sit and chat with our friends while we waited. General service was good. Surroundings are very nice.

Dreadful service- waited half an hour for drinks order whilst 4 members of staff were chatting! Decor very nice - food OK - overpriced! We won’t be back!

We haven't been to the Hollybush for a very long time, so thought it was about time we returned. We had a really lovely Father's Day meal for 5 of us yesterday, and we all enjoyed it very much and look forward to going again soon. The menu choices are very good, but three of us had the Sunday Roast which were absolutely amazing!! One had the Faggotts which apparently were so tasty, and the fifth meal was from the children's menu which was very soon devoured, so that says it all really!!! The Refurbishment is outstanding, very well done to John and all concerned. So tastefully done throughout and the Ladies Loo is stunning, thank you! I understand the Gents are very good too! So all in all 5/5 Brilliant xxx

Excellent food and ale, no much atmosphere but I did eat early which could be the reason for that.

Lovely visit to Hollybush for Father’s Day. Food was amazing. The Hollybush is now a beautiful place to visit.

First visit, we were impressed with the Father’s Day lunch. Definitely coming back again!

Staff are friendly and polite, service and food is good . Inside is kept clean and decor is nice and light.

Had to request menus. Long time before meals were ordered. Excessive waiting time for food( restaurant 30% full) Waitress was very pleasant.

Decor nice modern and fresh but not out. Food needs looking at.
