Table booked for 7:30 had to wait until after 8:00 Before seated after reminding staff. Not too happy with this.

Food excellent as usual but service not up to usual standard. There was a young waiter who was obviously a complete rookie and should definitely have had some more training before being left to serve a large table, quite often in his own.

Really good food, great service and a relaxing atmosphere! The staff were really friendly and helpful, food came out in good time and the flavours were really good! I’d go back and would recommend!

Party of seven. Food was fine. Waiter service good. Manager invisible until he asked us to leave because he was closing! WE WERE GUESTS IN THE HOTEL!!!!

The food was excellent and I shall certainly be returning. The complimentary dishes between courses were delightful and service first rate. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant

Lovely food as always, really enjoyed the amuse bouche tasters as well! The smell as you walk into the bar area makes you salivate and the funky relaxed decor and atmosphere is ideal to have a drink while you wait.

Every thing was 100.% Great night I will tell all my friends to go and experience the different taste and infuriating of spices. Cocktail was excellent.

Our 2nd visit and it didn't disappoint. A very interesting menu, difficult to decide what to choose. Very satisfied with the meal and service. Our only gripe is that the tables for two are a bit small.

Courteous welcome by all staff and offered a number of tables at which to sit. Given time to settle down before being asked about drink requirement. No hurry to order given plenty of time to browse menus and to ask questions about the array of different dishes. All courses beautifully presented which complimented the taste and quality. Not the first time we have visited and will not be the last. All set off in a calm and ambient Restsurant.

Although the entrance is a little strange, walking through the basement and pst the entry to the gym as soon as you walk into the bar area it is completely worth it. The decor is bright, with the sofas and the wallpaper giving you lots to look at..........We were met by 2 members of staff who were extremely welcoming and informative throughout the whole evening, from the explaining of the Indian Shiraz to help with the choices on the menu. All courses were incredible.......personally I had the kebab to start and then the Goat Curry, both exceptional. The taster of Carrot & Ginger soup was amazing.........All in all a brilliant evening, if we ever visit the area again we'll definitely eat there again..

By the sea, the location in the Imperial Hotel is excellent. Great food, great service, reasonable prices. What more do you want? I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Nice ambiance; friendly, attentive staff. Food was ok, but I have to say I discovered that I prefer my Indian food traditional. Not for me, but a lot of people rave about it, so don't pay any attention to my review!

We were greeted by a very inviting and colourful environment, also very friendly and helpful staff. A very nice touch was when the genius of a chef introduced himself to us. We immediately shook him by the hand, it was fabulous food, absolutely delicious, full of flavour. Best Indian cuisine we’ve had outside of India. We live quite a long way from Hythe but really hope to be back again when next this way.

Food amazing. The best Indian dishes I've eaten outside of India. Staff friendly. Only rated 5 as both draft beer and bottles of cobra were unavailable.

Delicious food, great service. Loved the little touches of Amuse Bouche at the start and a delicious soupçon of soup between starter and main. If the snow wasn’t coming down so heavily we’d have stayed for dessert too!

Again excellent. Been to the " Holy Pundit " many times , service very good, staff good, atmosphere good,can't fault the food all in all a good evening.

This was one of the best restaurants we have ever been in, my husband was so impressed with the food he shook the Chef's hand.
