Lovely atmosphere,attentive staff and great food for the price.Have been before and would recommend to anybody either visiting Lincoln or locals alike.will definitely be visiting again soon :)

Really nice local pub, very nice Young friendly waiting staff. Food very good, plenty of choice in all courses. All served very well, pipping hot. Plenty of free parking. Highly recommend

Staff bent over backwards to look after us, they even warmed my extra ice cold Guiness in warm water to make it taste the way a Guiness should taste. Looked forward to a slab of black pudding with the burger but I understand it's mixed in with the beef......which I could not taste.......when I return I'll ask for it on the side. Thank you all for a enjoyable night out.

Fantastic food, quick service and a lovely atmosphere. Roast beef was cooked perfectly and dessert was heavenly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice family place for a Sunday roast.

Table for 4 ready for us in prime position plenty of room around us greeted by friendly staff . Very eclectic menu at good prices good range of drinks. The food was well presented and tasted fantastic all in all could not fault anythingthank you the Horse & Groom.

The food was very good and we had a helpful waitress who looked after us well. The pub was busy and there was a great atmosphere.

Top class food at a great price. All had different meals which came in good time considering all is freshly cooked. The rump steak was first class

Good food at a reasonable price delivered with excellent service. Group of 7 accommodated for lunch with no problems, with attentive, but not intrusive staff.

Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch. The beef was cooked well and came with all the trimmings you would expect and plenty of gravy. Would thoroughly recommend.

Always plenty of things to choose from and our choices were excellent as usual. It was a wet January Wednesday evening and the place was full. Service was ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great food and service as always , will return again as already been several times. Like the fact I can now book on line too.

Friendly service and great food. The area was ready when we walked in and despite the pub being busy we were served quickly and at the same time.

Fantastic from start to finish. Very attentive and helpful staff and really good, high quality food. If I had to pick one criticism it would be their choice of starters is limited, whereas if you are a sweet fan- deserts are plentiful!

We visited with parents and our 5 year old. Absolutely awesome. Excellent food and great service. Would highly recommend and will be revisiting again soon.

Very disappointing meal at the Horse and Groom today! Strips of steak and Stilton salad consisted of four cubes of very tough beef, two cherry tomatoes, four pieces if cucumber, brown spring onions and a bowl of salad leaves! This was our first time at this pub and will not be going again!

Great pub, lovely food. Lots of choice and at a decent price. Particularly enjoyed the chicken and mushroom pie. Staff very friendly, will definitely return in the near future.

Went for a meal with seven people the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Very nice atmosphere.

A good wholesome meal buty husbands meal was cold but remedied happily by he very pleasant server. Would go again. Nice atmosphere and good choice of food for all.

The Horse and Groom is a well run and welcoming place for a tasty meal. Excellent and friendly service, good 'buzzy' atmosphere, well furnished and lit. Altogether we had a lovely meal, well priced and nicely served. It's a favourite place of ours. They should do something about the sticky tables though (we have been told it's the varnish... still not very nice though)

Initial service was good and waiter very friendly and having a general chat with us. Food also good, and good portion size. However, once we had finished our main course, nobody came to ask us if we wanted desert, although plenty of waiters/waitresses passed us on a number of occasions. In the end, we had to get a waiters attention and ask for the menu.

Excellent food and the place had a really good buzz about it. The satff were young but very welcoming and enthusiastic. An initial attraction was that there was parking available.

as always the Horse and Groom provided great food great beers and fantastic service, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food quality was excellent and well presented, the roast pork loin was exceptional, the fish and chips according to my wife were the best she had ever had! Compliments to the chef and all the staff at the Horse and Groom.

Had another great evening at the H&G last night. Great food, friendly and quick service which was no mean feat as the place was full to bursting. Well done girls! The cost of a great meal in nice surroundings is excellent. Definately value for money.

Booked for a work lunch online with no hassle. Food was lovely within a nice setting. Friendly and fast service. Would definitely recommend and go back.

5 of us ate and we all enjoyed our meals. One of our party thought the amount of mussels served for a main meal was poor although the taste was excellent.

I Booked a table for 6 and we all experienced Excellent food, and excellent service, in a lovely environment what more is there to say!!

Lovely food good service could of done with some dressing on the salad but that's the only minor have been plenty of times before is on of my favourite places to eat and drink 😄

Good choice of Sunday dinner. Lovely meal with generous portion. We shared puds, and staff went to the effort of serving half puddings on separate plates. Friendly service and delicious food.

From being met by the waitress and shown to our table, the experience at the horse & groom was great. The food was excellent, the waiting staff were very attentive but not too intrusive. We would highly recommend a visit to the Horse & Groom.

Excellent food, a good range of beers and very friendly staff. What more could you want? A little out of the way from the centre but worth the walk.

Great food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere! Couldn't believe how busy it was on a week night. Would definitely return for food or even just drinks. Boyfriend was also very impressed with the beer here!

Easy to book a table online, has car parking, clean modern atmosphere, friendly staff, extremely good food with quality ingredients, good value. Will be visiting again.

Good atmosphere and decor quite busy but did not have to wait. No starters, all mains were good with the steaks cooked perfectly,excellent desserts However service was not brilliant.

Great food & service will return .good menu options. Friendly staff we were delayed 30 mins our table for 5 was still waiting for us!

Made to feel very welcome and food was excellent. Have dined a number of times and never disappointed. Staff are always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back.

Great roast, lovely staff. I really recommend this place. The portions were generous and the meat was really beautifully cooked. Will be returning if I find myself in Lincoln again.

It's a lovely relaxed setting, the food as always was delicious (though mine was slightly different from last time - not enough soy sauce but still very tasty) - I have no doubt I will be in there again over the coming months

Pub is lovely and smart , the staff very good , efficient and polite , the food and real ales are amazing , service was also excellent with a wide variety on offer on the menu , will definitely be visiting again soon.
