Grear serevice. Food was great, turkey was moist, good range of veg and gravy was lovely. Will deffo return.

Food was very nice and the staff very polite and helpful

Very disappointing again, too many customers and not enough staff. One of our party’s food arrived 15 minutes after we had finished our meal and it was the wrong meal. This is not the first time we have been disappointed in this way, the only good thing was our waitress.

Fantastic first visit and certainly won't be the last. Good food and friendly atmosphere. Can't wait for a return visit soon

The food was lovely lots to choose from and all hot and being topped up every time something got low staff were nice and pleasant and price was great I will recommended it to any one I know and shall be going again

Eat there often. Always enjoy my meal. Service very good and I feel comfortable with the good atmosphere. Will not be beaten on price.

We had a nice meal, we had to wait some time for our table to be made up because of a large party using the table we needed adding onto ours and our children did start to get a bit restless but other than that the food was amazing and we had a nice experience.

We have been coming here for years usually for the carvery which is very good value and has a large choice of veg and always 4 meats. Many others have 3 meats and less choice of veg. We tried some other carveries recently but not as good in terms as choice. We will be returning again.

Very nice all round and as a wheelchair user the access was 1st class. Well done to all staff

This is a place a group of us friends meet up for lunch, usually have the carvery, which we always seem to choose. Can’t fault the place, for food, the staff are lovely, highly reccomend.

I have to say this was the second time I have eaten at the island pool and the food is of an excellent standard, however there was an issue with the table we had to move tables when we went to get our carvery, we were moved to a table for 2 in the far corner to the left of the entrance very claustrophobic and crammed, can I have a better table next time .

My friend and I throughly enjoyed our meal at The Island Pool last week. We both had the carvery.

Friendly welcome by staff. Food was plentiful and hot. I’m a vegetarian and was more than satisfied

Carvery was excellent. Took a long time for empty plates to be taken away due to only one waitress seen. Two different types of cheesecake ordered both not available however ordered peach gateau which was very nice. Would go again this was our first visit.

V busy and only 1 serving at times. Should have asked for table nearer the carvery as father in law struggles to walk .

Main meals were most enjoyable, well presented, good quality and plenty. Steaks all cooked perfect. The sticky toffee pudding was very nice, and also the roulade, we were disappointed with the Bailey Cheescake, as it was very bland. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. well worth a visit.

As expected, very good. We regularly use the Wellington, Brierley hill and love the food & service so was not surprised it was just as good at the Island Pool, keep it going this way and I will return shortly.

Food was not very warm, mushrooms and scrambled egg were tasteless and tomatoes were overcooked and had a bad taste. Pub looked dated and looked as if a fairly recent makeover was never finished. No real atmosphere and staff seemed miserable
