we both had carvery not the best we have had beef a bit chewy been on hot plate too long roasts to dry and hard job to cut them been there too long Yorkshire only one left in tray had to pick up to eat overall food left to long

Meal and service was fantastic 👍I would definitely recommend the food

First class as always first time Monday special night wow full size meals for half the price if I lived local I'd be here 3 or 4 times a week it's brill well worth the 3 hour round trip see ya Sunday for lunch

Really amazing carvery, the gravy is lovely. All the veg was fresh and restocked and good selection of meat. The staff were great too.

Was a really lovely meal , only thing I would say was with the fact it wasn't busy thought the staff could of come and taken the order from the table ...but other than that well lovely

Excellent value for money on Mondays madness offer will go again

We were very impressed, as usual, with the food, particularly the meat content. The atmosphere got a little raucous, which is unusual in our experience, but the waiter was particularly pleasant.

Still no better organised than last visit 8 months ago . As they book the dinning in sittings on a Sunday surely they can organise vegetables to be cooked and ready for the customers ! Can’t they no waited 10 min after being served meat for empty veg trays to be re-filled. Poor lad carving meat seamed to be doing everything on his own

Limited staff to the amount of customers , not a relaxing visit very noisy waited 10mins at the bar to get served and again to queue for the food , will think twice before booking again , very poor

Very nice meal carvery was really good, i had gammon from main menu which was plentiful and tasty, exceptional value for money. Will definitely return, only neg place was empty by 8.30pm.

All round very good indeed. Tasty food, generous portions, extremely good value for money, especially on Monday evenings, friendly staff who provide good service. Highly recommended.

Another great carvery enjoyed here. Choice of 4 meats and lots of vegetables. Slightly cheaper than most carveries in the area yet still of very good quality.

For a Sunday carvery the food was really good, fresh veg, juicy meats and the roast potatoes were really good too! I would recommend a little more info on ordering etc when people arrive, it was our first visit and we were shown to our table and left to it. No menus on the tables or any info to advise that you just go up to the bar and order a carvery. We had a vegetarian with us and there was no information on vegi options, she ended up with a plate of vegetables and some potatoes, couldn’t even have gravy as there was a sign saying not suitable for vegetarians but then there was no vegi gravy.

We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. Incredibly quick service and delicious lamb shank. Great selection of veg but all over cooked which is my only complaint. Great value for money and I look forward to returning.

Food good value for money and staff friendly and helpful

Having enjoyed the carveries here we decided to try the weekend breakfast buffet. It was the same high standard with plenty of cooked items to make up a full English breakfast. Highly recommended!

Food menu is very poor with not a lot of options

Had the lunchtime carvery which was excellent value at £6.49. There were 4 meats to choose from plus a very good array of vegetables. For some reason the carrots were of the tinned variety rather than fresh which was slightly disappointing but the excellent choice of other vegetables made up for it!

Good atmosphere, food enjoyable and not too long a wait.

We had the steak a rib eye. Which was on a half price deal night. It was not a good steak very fatty so ended up eating a load of chips really. Even at half price you expect meat you can eat.
