Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Food was excellent and great value. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely meal and it was really good value for money. The service was very good too. The location was perfect for our trip to The Playhouse and we got off the tram at Yorke Place and the theatre and restaurant were minutes away. Will definitely use it again and recommend it to anybody I know who is heading to Edinburgh for a show.

Gem of a restaurant, exceptionally good value for money and ideal for pre-theatre dining. Very friendly and attentive staff and we were served very promptly. Pizza menu is wide and varied to suit everyone. Would definitely recommend.

Our party of seven enjoyed the lunch menu at the bargain price of £6.95p for 3 courses. There were starters of soups , egg mayonnaise and garlic bread, followed by chicken with mushroom sauce, liver and bacon, mushroom omelette, pizzas or pasta dishes. You could also choose a "half pizza half pasta", which is great for people like me who cannot manage to eat a whole pizza. Ice cream for dessert had a strawberry, caramel or chocolate sauce topping, and there was also fruit or coffee to choose from. The food was excellent and plentiful, and staff were very attentive, they certainly went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely time, even though the restaurant was full to capacity. I would recommended booking in advance for this delightful restaurant.

Firstly I ordered Pate to start then a Pizza Inferno,(which should have pepperoni & chill's on top. There was NO pate so I had prawn cocktail instead which was ok, the when the pizza came it was an ordinary Pepperoni Pizza, the waitress said the there was Chilli paste in it??? Didn't taste any chilli at all so spoke another waitress she offered to give me dried chilli's to sprinkle on top eventually after nearly 15 minutes I managed to speak to the manager he offered to make another Pizza for me , but I was short of time as I was going to the theatre, so ended up having the pepperoni pizza. Not a good experience as I spoke to 2 waitresses & the manager & I felt like they didn't care. The only decent thing that came from this experience was that I wasn't charged for my pizza. Not a great experience at all. will give this place a wide berth in future. Brian.

We went yesterday after a Fringe show and had a brilliant lunch. The pizza/pasta combo was delicious and it was great value for money. We also enjoyed the playlist in the background
