Disappointed. Booked online for breakfast, however on arrival we were told that we were unable to have breakfast as too busy on the run up to lunchtime. We were given a free coffee but had to ask for that first. Shame as we have been before and enjoyed it.

Dogs now welcome, with two children scared of dogs, lunch was a challenge. Food and service both ok. I'm not sure if there is a dog-free zone but it would have been nice to have that option.

£12-99 for a Sunday dinner which was lukewarm and mediocre. On the other hand, £4-99 for Eton Mess which was delicious, but I’m afraid we won’t be dining there again.

Food lovely,, staff pleasant but the thing which let it down was how slow to get drinks because they came when we got food so no time to have a drink before food came,, we had to ask to order!

Booked online, quick and easy, got a reminder a day before asking to confirm. We had the most amazing afternoon tea. It was faultless. Food was lovely and fresh, scones were warm. Delicious selection of sandwiches, and mini desserts. We couldn’t eat it all. Asked for the remainder to be put in a doggie bag to take home, which was no problem for the staff. I will certainly go back, lovely place and staff. A lovely treat for my daughters birthday. Thank you x x

Food was great but table allocated was noisy and disrupted by staff entering and leaving the kitchen. We asked for change and a table was found after someone had cancelled. Staff always pleasant and attentive.

Arrived prompt at 6.15pm. Whilst staff very polite the time to get a drink and order food was far too long-we barely got our starter & main course eaten when we had to leave to go to a show at 7.45pm. The food was poor-my wife had prawns & avocado for starter which clearly did not see much avocado! The main courses being battered fish for me-fish fine but sloppy batter inside not good- whilst the chips tasted ok-they were a bit soft and oily. My WIfe had Haloumi burger-not good again chips not great. First visit to the Keys very disappointing -but will go again and put this visit down to experience.

We were welcomed as we went in and taken to our table, the table was already set with the choice of two menus' I picked from the value menu with a choice of 1, 2 or 3 courses, there was plenty to choose from, I chose the black pudding and caramelized apple stack for starter, which was delicious, made with lovely lean black pudding not too fatty and for main I chose salmon on a potato and carrot rosti, with seasonal veg cooked perfectly for me, not soft, nice and crunchy. The portions were a good size, in fact a bit big for me, but the husbands in our party loved the size of them. The service was great, polite, efficient and friendly. Definitely value for money and we will definitely be going back.

Food was lovely, service appalling, an error apologised for however even after that the service went completely downhill. Shame because it certainly has potential is staff can get their act together. Won’t be in a hurry to return yet looking at the menu when we arrived I was making plans to sample the rest 😏

The Keys is usually very reliable and good value with good service and reasonable pricing. My recent visit was not quite up to the usual standard as (I'm sure) the meal was kept hot under lamps for too long resulting in the meat being a little dry. The vegetables were excellent and portions generous. It wasn't massively busy to explain the situation but I would go back. However if this happens again I probably wont.

We really enjoy our Sunday lunch here and is our place of choice when not cooking at home. The food has always been really enjoyable, with plenty of fresh vegetables and tasty meat. My son especially loves the Yorkshire pudding. The staff are always happy to help and very friendly. They always make an effort with my 3yr old son too . The children's menu is also very good with a variety of options to suit the children. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely Sunday dinner, set out on plate really nice. Soft creamy mash, tasty gravy, and caramelised red cabbage is scummy. Lovely waiter called Alex was very helpful.

Popped in for an early tea. Had two courses and drinks. Risotto off the specials menu was a little bland but everything else was tasty. My daughter particularly enjoyed the nachos starter. Couldn’t finish the main courses - generous portions.

Very long wait for both food and drinks. Had to find wait staff to chase and order. Yes it was busy but 30 mins for a round of drinks? Not really good enough. Food when it eventually arrived was good.
