Had a fabulous meal. Couldn't fault the staff or quality of the food. It's a very lively & happy pub. Nice place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Took family to kings Head at Napton today for the lunch time menu. The table was ready for us, complete with high chair as requested and there was even baby cutlery set too! This was a really nice touch. Service was excellent with friendly staff . Menu had plenty of choice for everyone and the food was delicious

A welcoming pub in a lovely setting, the staff are attentive but not over bearing, the food is beautifully presented & cooked to perfection. We will definitely be going back.

Stunning food, however clearing the tables just took a little longer than desired. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here today and was nice to have variety on a Sunday and not just Sunday roasts.

Fantastic Gastro food, great family atmosphere and great service. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. We will be coming back again very very soon.

We had a delicious meal here. Burgers are fantastic. The duo of beef is also extremely nice and well cooked and presented. Will be going again!

We got to sit on the decking as per my request and even though there were a lot of flies ( it was in June) the waitress took measures to minimise these enabling us to stay outside. Great evening.

Lovely meal enjoyed by my children and grandchildren who were made welcome at 6.30pm on a Monday evening when the pub was relatively busy for a traditionally quieter night.

The welcome was warm and friendly and a lovely atmosphere with the pub gently buzzing and clearly fairly busy. Food was generally excellent all round and all of our party of 7 enjoyed their meals. The only reason I've not given top marks is that the service was rather slow.

Clearly a very busy location and therefore quite noisy if your table is in the bar area. It was not a place for a quiet meal together. Also, if busy, be aware the staff are not many in number so it is quite hard to catch their eye. The food was good and plentiful. Prices were the higher end of pub restaurant however the quality was good. Clearly very popular - car parking was extending onto the roadside as the car park was full.

Great burger - but I really do not like the wooden board to eat from...They did however bring me a standard white plate when asked. Would still go back again + again

The food was absolutely fabulous...we had the sharing plates to start and, unlike other places where I've had similar, there was plenty of bread to dip in the melted cheese. The rib-eye steaks were cooked perfectly and much larger than expected. The service was really friendly and it felt like the staff really cared that we had a nice time The only thing I'm not sure about is the general atmosphere, perhaps I need to go more often to make my mind up about it!!

Good atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and good service. Food not as good as expected it to be. Coq au vin not cooked in red wine???? Veg a bit dried out. Disappointing as reviews seemed to indicate better.

So love this pub, it has a great vibe, the food has always been delicious, and the staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. One of my favourite places to eat.

Food was served quite quickly upon ordering and was hot. The staff asked us how our meal was and cleared the starter dishes in good time. My partner had a rump steak and said it was the best ever.

The best Sunday lunch ever. Beautiful beef blade with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings. Excellent service and friendly staff. Free WiFi. Definitely be back!!

I have been a regular at The Kings Head for many years. I have never been disappointed by the food or service. One of my all time favourite pubs.

Excellent food and service as always. Food came quickly and was good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. An enjoyable experience. We will definitely be returning

The only drawback was that our table for 6 was by the bar and this made it difficult to speak each other due to the goings on round the bar. If we go again will ask for table in main restaurant.

We came for dinner on Friday night, just the 2 of us. The team here are all really friendly. Ordered a burger and a curry. Always really good food. There was a bit of a mix up and we didn't get the bread course but the waitress apologised and it wasn't a big deal. We've eaten here 3 times now and really like the place. Great tasty food in nice surroundings. Probably only 1 small moan which would be where we were sitting wasn't too far from the open door to the garden which was lovely for the breeze but there must have been a few smokers by the back door as the smell was coming in quite strongly next to where we were eating. Again, not really anything to moan enough about and ask to move but it was a little off putting. All in all a great place and we'll no doubt be back.

Easy to find and book through quando. Really good food excellent menu. table a little cramped felt we were with the other people on their table we were so close.

A popular country pub with very friendly staff and great cuisine. The Sunday lunch roasts seemed to be a favourite with the local clientele and continued to be served well into the evening.

Great meal and friendly staff. Estepetadas amazing! This is better than pub grub and the restaurant is light, airy and comfortable. The management and staff should be very proud.
