Food was cold first time round. Then they were setting up for a wedding around us and made us feel very uncomfortable. Annoyed and disappointment
Lovely restaurant with great food. Very welcoming and accommodating to needs of children. The only down point is the wait for food after ordering is considerable and can be hard with young children.
We had a lovely family meal out on Bonfire Night - celebrating our daughter's 7th birthday! Notably, they accommodated her with a half-portion meal from the adult menu - great customer service. We'll be back!
Wonderful bowl of moules with choice of delicious sauces. Satisfying and very tasty . Polite and attentive service and no sense of rush . Highly recommended .
Lovely place, lovely Sunday lunch. Only complaint was I had to ask twice for gravy oh and they put an extra glass of wine on the bill which was paid for at the bar. Quickly produced a correct bill.
The staff were polite and obliging however the standard of the food wasn't up to scratch, quality wise. For example, the beef was too dry and the baked potatoes were burnt & rock hard. Our servers were quick to rectify these two issues, however it has to be said that overall the meal was fairly average & a little disappointing.
Friendly staff. Nice food. Kids ennoyed their meL and puddibg. Well priced.good offers during the week for families. Would recommend definitely . Want to try Sunday roast.
Booked the table for 10 people over a week ago to be told there were no roast potatoes available to have with the Sunday lunches. A few of us had the beef which we all found quite tough. The staff were lovely but overall a disappointing experience, won't be rushing back.
Booking facility was easy to use, we managed to reserve a table with just 4 hours notice. The Sunday lunch was plentifully and good quality, we didn't have to wait too long for our meal. Staff and surrounding were pleasant, although our table next to the door was a little uncomfortable due to a draft.
Food was good value for money but service was rather slow. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience and my partner liked the portion size.
Lovely food in a relaxed atmosphere. Sunday Roast was excellent. Attended with two young children (2 and 4yrs) and we were made to feel very welcome.
Service was good but, had a Sunday lunch and the roast potatoes were pretty much inedible. Everything else we ate was just ok but not great.
Service good. Friendly staff. Food very average and pricey. Noisy out of control children running around. Disappointing. We live locally but are unlikely to visit again
We enjoyed the food, though would like there to be a few different vegetarian choices. Services was efficient and friendly. What we did not like though was the dirty seat covers on the dining chairs and hope something can be done about this before our next visit.
Great food and great company. As always we'll worth the visit.
Beautiful food, and beautiful experience, friendly staff, drink was a bit expensive 🙁 overall loved it....... We will definitely return again in the near future,
Excellent food. Good service, good selection of wine and large car park. We will be visiting again. Thank you for a great experience at your restaurany
We visit the Lambley on a regular basis and think it is very good value for money. The food is always really tasty and well cooked, with generous portions. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.
Lovely cooked meal . Not sure about the beetroot and more gravy would be nice. Waited over half hour for our meal but it was busy
The ambience is very nice but unfortunately the food was not up to the standard of our previous visit. The duck was dry and hard with soggy skin - totally overcooked. The fish batter was also soggy and the burgers were tasteless. Very disappointing.
We had a lovely experience at the Lambley Kitchen. We had 2 young children with us and they staff were very accommodating, giving us a lot of space. Food & service were very good.
By far the best Sunday roast we have experienced in a restaurant, so tasty and plenty of it, for those with a larger appetite you can have an xl portion.
My parents first visit to The Lambley but they were very impressed with the food and service.
Food was fantastic, the specials in particular, great selection of drinks/beers, always accommodating for children and very friendly staff - it's a great pub to habe as a local!!!
Excellent food, reasonably priced. Friend;y and professional staff and a warm, peaceful and comfortAble dining room. Altogether a very positive experience and we intend to return
Table booked for 6pm on a Saturday and it was very busy by 7pm. Food enjoyed by all and friendly but non intrusive service. 3rd time here
A nice village pub serving a nice Sunday roast. Possibly a bit pricey, but where isn't these days! Would recommend if you're looking for somewhere quiet to eat and drink outside of a busy town/city
The layout of the pub was very good. The food, overall, was nice and good value for our choices. The service and staff were friendly.
Lovely clean and well decorated restaurant. Very friendly staff and great food. Highly recommended
Lovely meal and service as it always is... will be going back
Very nice location and a pretty good meal (We went for sunday roast). For such a beautiful setting, home made food and lovely interior it is very well priced. Overall pretty good and would return.
Early lunch with our young niece and nephew and staff couldn't be more helpful. The kids definitely liked the extra ice cream with the chocolate brownies!
Lovely food and great service. Not much atmosphere because the restaurant wasn't busy but I'm sure that's not the case later in the evenings. Would go back again.
Sausage ring and Sea Bream were delicious. And piping hot. Unfortunately ciabatta was stale on the third meal. Service was friendly and quick. Decor is excellent. Would recommend.
Friendly staff good quality food not your everyday Sunday lunch and at a reasonable price the only reason it's not. 6 is the first course was a little slow in coming Nice ambience really well presented
The place was very nice, but they did not get the order right and when the replacement meal came it was cold. I would not recommend this place and we shall not be going back.
Lovely Sunday lunch and good service. The only complaint would be that we were not asked if more drinks were required by the waitress and drinks are rather pricey.
atmosphere was brilliant but lamb and roast potatoes looked and tasted like they had been out for a long time. Prices were reasonable and wine was very good.
Came here and enjoyed a wonderful Sunday dinner which is a very generous portion! Friendly efficient service and managed to squeeze in a very tasty sticky toffee pudding! Will be back again very soon!
One of the waiting team though it was ok to put his fingers inside clean glasses he was carrying through the restaurant to set a table. When given this feedback that it wasn't very hygienic he said "my hands are clean". Food was very good, but my comments above make me feel the place is possibly unclean if the team believe that's ok! Also team very noisy when clearing tables that had been vacated, oblivious to diners at other tables. Thanks
