Food lovely but could have been warmer, service very slow but it was Sunday lunchtime overall good if not for the above comments it would have been a higher rating ( think they need more staff key times )
Rather nice surroundings, ok waitress but food not great. Mushrooms came on bread out of a packet & were overly salty & sweet. Aubergine was ok but didnt taste of anything & potatoes were dry, linguine was ok but chicken dry & fishcakes were dry too. Not a bad price but wont be returning anytime soon.
Food was ok but service slow and not particularly friendly. Would not go back for a family meal - not welcoming to children (despite kids menu)
Three adults ate on a Monday evening which staff told us was Fish and Chip night, so that is what we ordered. The meal was very good, the staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would recommend the Lambley Village Kitchen to friends.
Great food and value for money but, except for taking our order and delivering the main course, utterly terrible service and we ended up walking out
Good meal, good service good value. First customers in at midday. Bits of bread etc on the floor near the bar from the night before hence one mark deducted.
Great food , atmosphere and drink as always. Cromer Crab as a main made lovely alternative to fish dishes.
Excellent service and very welcoming friendly staff but on this visit the quality of the food was a little disappointing. Potatoes were to salty and the salad with chicken was a large plate of lettuce leaves with very little else.
The food was good but there was an extremely long delay between the first course and the arrival of the second course, with no explanation. At the time we were the only customers left in the place!
everything worked well - from the food to the beer to the service - it was all spot on. a return is definitely on the cards.
Hake special a very good dish, but Sunday roast dinner average, service reasonable if a little slower than we would have liked. Nice relaxed atmosphere and would certainly return to eat again.
Excellent service good food we have been to the LAMBLEY VILLAGE RESTAURNT for lunch dinner and Sunday lunch the service and the food as always remained excellent
Another fab meal. Great food and great service. We love going here so much we are almost regulars! Good value for money too. Very highly recommended!
We had a Lovely experience brought the whole family, staff where very accommodating and polite and the food was very tasty. We will be back :) Thankyou
The food was excellent, the service was brilliant, unfortunately there was a group of adults with several children who made a lot of noise making it impossible to carry on a conversation. Once they had eaten the staff asked them to move because the table was reserved for a party. This they did with good grace but it rained so they came back in, the mothers were louder than the children. It would be nice if people could have a good time without causing inconvenience to other diners. The staff were very apologetic
From start to finish it was an easy process. Booked online using Quandoo, friendly greeting on arrival, and throughout the service. Attentive without being too pushy. Food was excellent, could not complaint. Would liked more choice on the desert front, but what they do, they do well.
Another great meal. Always Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere.
I think all the staff finish at 9.pm.......no offer of dessert or coffee......had to go to the bar to get the bill and still ended going back to pay at the bar 15 minutes later.......
The food was all delicious and well presented, the service was efficient and friendly, the children's menu food was also good. The food was obviously prepared from fresh ingredients and there was a good variety on offer. The atmosphere was airy and calm, giving a very pleasant environment. Our only slight grumble would be over the time we waited for the food, which meant that the children got impatient, but that really is a minor "minus". Overall we enjoyed the experience very much.
Great food well presented great evening as always though it was noisy because the restaurant is in the same room as the bar which gets very noisy at times
The food and drink is great, it's just a shame that the service is inattentive - when I go to a restaurant for a sit down meal I don't expect to have to walk to the bar to order drinks, or ask for cutlery that's missing from the table place settings when I booked and you're expecting me...
A charming welcome from the staff on duty, very good food - the sea bream was particularly good - and delightful service, all at a reasonable price. We never felt rushed to vacate the table and the only small niggle was that soup + bread & butter doesn't need to be served on large wooden platters which are heavy and too big to sit comfortably on the table when there are 4 people. That apart, we had an excellent meal and will visit again.
Excellent food and quick service. Tables are quite close together and especially with a little one in a high chair it feels even closer together when picking toys up off the floor!
We both really enjoyed our starts which was the camebert but my husband found the fish and chips a bit salty but my mussels were amazing .
Very good meal and good choice of Sunday roasts. Very good service and friendly staff. Would go again and would recommend to friends and family.
Nice burger, good service and atmosphere. Very good value with the 25% off promotion. Will be going back soon. Thank you and see you soon...
Nice restaurant and the staff are polite and friendly, our meal was ok, although there is a specials board the actual main menu is a bit limited on choice, and the choice seems to be similar through out the year on the main menu. Enjoyed the evening though thank you Lambley Village Kitchen
Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Professional courteous staff, lovely surroundings. We visited on steak night and the steaks were lovely. Also recommend the sticky toffee pudding! A comfortable restaurant which we will visit again soon.
Fantastic food & man sized portions. Only issue was sitting in the 'additional' room away from the main bar area. No atmosphere in this room.
Eaten here twice now, once at lunchtime and once in the evening. Food is very good. Staff are friendly and helpful and the general atmosphere relaxed. Seems to be a very family friendly environment. Will definitely be checking them out again.
Really tasty food, good pricing and large portions very impressed! Waiters friendly and attentive which makes a big impact on your evening meal! Will be back!
Very pleasant lunchtime spent with friends , very good choice of food. We had light lunches but this was sufficient for all of us for lunch.
The friendly staff, great food and lovely atmosphere made this a great way to spend the evening. A very nice little country pub that's highly recommended.
Excellent food , faultless service in all areas ..defo will return. Friendly staff , and nice not to be rushed .10/10 service , food , value
Delicious ,warm and friendly. The Roast dinner was just right and the honeycomb ice cream was a hit-a lovely, welcoming restaurant and pub atmosphere !
Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was great and there can be no complaints from anyone about the size of the roast dinners they even offer an XL option as well!! Will definitely go back.
Clean, good food friendly atmosphere. Good Sunday lunch with nice selection of vegetables. Service was prompt and staff polite, all in all a good experience.
Very impressed. Lovely food, helpful staff and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely be back.
Food excellent , staff friendly and helpful will definately be going back, would highly recommend the lambley village kitchen to family and friends , very satisfied
Enjoyable relaxed evening. The food was well cooked with good fresh ingredients. However the highest rating goes to the staff. Very attentive without being intrusive . We also did not feel in any way pressured to leave as you can feel in some restaurants . We will recommend this restaurant to friends and family
Steak night food was good quality, cooked as requested with extra Stilton, at a good out of town location with friendly service and at the right price
Good atmosphere , great staff and always quality food. If you are intending on visiting at peak times, it does pay to book in advance
Good variety on the menu and we were served quickly. Very pleasant, efficient staff. Food was piping hot and lovely. We will be going back.
Another nice meal/evening at The Lambley. Been a few times and never had a bad experience. Good food, nice and quiet atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!
real quality food in lovely surroundings. free parking on site and very good value for all courses. keep an eye out for the monster Sunday lunches
Lovely meal and friendly service. We had a group of four and felt we had privacy but at the same time felt the was a good atmosphere. Recommended.
Team not overly attentive. And food average. No welcome or goodbye. Not what I expected. I went for a birthday meal and would not book again
starters (specials) ok taste wise and presentation but at nearly £6 were poor value, had to send 1 of the mains back due to poor quality (linguine) dry chicken and far too much oil, sausages and mash OK nothing to get excited about, Staff wise no one likes to stand at a bar with no one serving on arrival, however seated quickly when a member of staff showed up, Took too long in taking the order (10 minutes ) even though the restaurant was not busy , no real ownership by waiting staff. All in all I don't think we will be returning
Food was excellent. Great value for money. Would highly recommend.
Excellent meal, and even better value if you can get one of their email offers. Monday fish and chip night is a particularly good deal!
