Great night, great food , great service as usual. Still the best around Been coming here since opening day would never go anywhere else. FANTASTIC!!!

We have been to this restaurant many times and we have never been disappointed. The decor is wonderful. The service is excellent. You are not rushed and They will answer any questions about The menu which is very varied.

Excellent food and brilliant service, couldn't be better I used to go to the restaurant when it was in Low Fell and the food is still just as good as it was then Probably the best curry I have ever had

As with previous visits, we were greeted by friendly staff. The attention to service, could not be faulted. The Meal was of a usually if standard, and well presented.

Brilliant! Best curry house in the NE, heard amazing things when it was based in Lowfell but now fits perfectly into a spacious well lighted premise in Dinnington!

service was good and the staff very pleasant,but the food was nothing special. I had the lamb korai and the lamb was quite tough.Was surprised by the bill,which was correct when checked,but over £50 for two people, for 2 courses plus pickles and one drink each was more than expected.

Another fab night spent at The Last Days I of the Raj. Good was fab as always. Definitely my go to favourite restaurant. Love it .

Our experience was as fabulous as ever. The early evening menu is great value for money. The food was excellent and the service was great. We’ll be back!

As Usual a lovely meal, served by smashing staff, in a very nice environment. The food here is always of the best quality and plenty of it! On such a cold night, it was lovely to be in such a warm welcoming restaurant more like a country house. The menu is extensive and if unsure any of the staff are always ready to help decide what to choose. Another lovely meal and we will be back again in the not too distant future!

Friendly greeting and great food will be certainly be back for more ! The atmosphere was good and the staff very attentive and they knew all the dishes if you were stuck. Nothing touch trouble .

Absolutely love this restaurant. The minute we walked in the door we were welcomed. The place itself is spotless with a really nice decor. Service was outstanding and so was the food. Prices are very good as well.

Excellent venue. Great service. Staff not to "in your face" but there if you needed them. Food excellent. Starters were superb and then the main course which was even better. Finally sweet course and coffee. All in all a brilliant night. This was our third visit to this venue and all I can say is it will not be our last!

Excellent food service and ambiance, will definitely recommend to try it, the menu is varied with dishes not offered at other Indian restaurants such as the salmon tikka starter, rit has rapidly become my favourite.

Excellent restaurant! There are a wide selection of dishes on the menu ranging from what they call the 'British Classics' - Bhuna, Roghan Josh, Dupiaza, etc. - through to several dishes I've not seen before. Unusually, the Tikka dishes were not priced higher than other dishes. All dishes are rated with a number of chilli icons and judging from the dishes we chose, these seemed accurate. Service was fast and attentive (though the only reason for the 5 instead of 6 was that our particular waiter was inexperienced and it did show a little - though we all have to start, somewhere). Overall, very enjoyable and we will be back!!

This was our first visit to The Last Days of The Raj and it certainly won`t be our last. All of the staff were very friendly and professional, taking time to communicate and welcome us to the new environment. The food was absolutely superb. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic food and good service can't say excellent service as 1 waitress although very pleasant was forgetful but will definitely recommend and return for food

We enjoyed lovely food as always at last days of the raj. We had to park a few hundred yards away but I guess that a little exercise is not too bad.

Excellent food and staff. Really tasty food. The starter Bhubaneswar prawn en purée was really fresh and just. The right amount of spice. The main courses equally so and plenty of vegetarian options as well.

We had a great time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the food as well as the service was great. Parking was limited but acceptable.

Smart premises, attentive staff and excellent food. Drinks prices fair too. We've been a few times now, it can get very busy at peak times but we always book online which is very useful.

Beautiful food and excellent ambience. We were greeted immediately on arrival and made to feel welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back. Only negative was lack of parking outside. There is a car park in front but very limited space due to inconsiderate parking. The street to the side does allow you to park but it was completely full. Managed to find a space as someone was leaving fortunately.

Excellent food as always. Attentive staff and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. It was Friday night and busy which led to a delay in our starters arriving but otherwise I cannot fault them.

Have now made several visits to the Raj and once again we were 100% satisfied. The whole evening was superb with good food good service and good company. What more can I say other than If you have not been you are definitely missing out.

Excellent food ,the staff were excellent ,professional and friendly ,The restaurant was not busy but had nice atmosphere and prices very reasonable with pint beer cheaper than most pubs .Have been here about four times to sit in and had a couple of takeaways and have not been disappointed,

Always friendly staff, very pleasant surroundings, impeccably clean and most importantly amazing food!! Never had a bad meal there. We have Indian restaurants nearer to where we live but would rather make the 20 minute drive and eat at our favourite Indian!!

The welcome and service is excellent. It is very clean. You are not rushed it has a very relaxed atmosphere. The curries are very well made and There is plenty of choice.They can recommend a suitable curry if your not sure. I've been quite a few times and it never disappoints
