We were sat promptly. It was the waitresses 1st day so I can understand some of the challenges, however there were four items forgotten from the order. We ordered a carafe of wine, which was warm, it was white and it was not good. If you are going to serve white wine ensure it is chilled. Fishcakes were not great, the arancini balls were bland and the calamari was cold

My family and I had a very happy Mother's Day lunch at the Latchmere. In spite of the pub being so busy the service was excellent and we were looked after with care and attention. The menu provided for the vegetarians as well as the Sunday roasts and it was all enjoyed. The complimentary glass of Prosecco was much appreciated! Thanks to the staff for their hard work.

We always love Latchmere, especially Sunday roasts. Food is always good and guaranteed in terms of portion, service and value for money. I guess it was Valentine's day, the service was a little slower than usual and one of the meals (we had a party of 6) was 'dropped off from the order' so my meal eventually came about 5-10 minutes late, when my friends were half way finishing their meals. There was a sincere apologise from the waiter we appreciated that but there was nothing else the manager had done to make us feel value, perhaps a free sparkling water whilst I wait? There was nothing. I am not saying that we are touting for free drinks or food or anything, i paid for all my drinks and food which we enjoyed. It is just that little extra effort could really make a customer come back to you for life! luckily we are locals and we will alway visit and eat at Latchmere. If i were a new customer, i wasn't so sure. All the best, and thank you for this space to let me voice my opinion. D

Absolutely delicious roast - huge portion, a great mix of al dente vegetables (peas, cabbage, carrots, parsnips and potatoes), massive yorkshire and lots of gravy, what's not to like! :-)

I went with my wife for a mid week lunch in January. It was quiet but the staff were very welcoming. The Latchmere is a great place to drink and eat. Portions are generous and excellent quality. The lady that served us was very friendly and polite.

I booked a table for 10 people overall, for a work colleagues team lunch. Contacting the pub through email and phone was seamless, Corbin was absolutely great at keeping me informed and giving me peace of mind for a large group booking. We sent ahead a pre-booked menu and I couldn't fault it the timings or service at all, even the drinks were served quickly. There was always people around to check in on us. My colleague forgot her phone in the pub after we left, and I was easily able to collect it afterwards without any hassle. One of the barmen kept it safe. This has been the best customer experience we've received from a restaurant/bar during the busy festive period. I'd strongly recommend and would return again in the future :)

It was Saturday lunchtime, and busy, so we had to wait a bit, and there were a fair few families with young kids, which put up the noise levels, but the food and service were great. And good value too.

Friendly service; good food; the only downer is the poor selection of hand-pulled (real) ales. All in all, very enjoyable.

First time here for Sunday lunch and had an excellent meal and good service. Did not feel rushed at all, and restaurant was perfectly busy to provide atmosphere but not to feel noisy and cramped. More affordable of the London pubs in the area.

poor customer service, poor availability of roasts (we even saw the ones we were after come out long after we were told they weren't available), poor wait times

We both had the roast beef on recommendation with a cauliflower cheese side but we’re very disappointed. The Yorkshire puddings had obviously been precooked and reheated leaving them very hard, they looked great but didn’t have a pleasant mouth feel at all. The gravy was thin and lacked any ability to hug the contents of the plate just a pool of brown water for them to swim in. The peas and carrots were undercooked and I don’t mean al dente whilst I was served roast carrot that was completely black on one side although the rest of the carrots were fine. Roast potatoes not crisp at all. The beef itself though was nice and thinly sliced just a tiny bit over done for my taste though but that’s very personal preference. However, the service was very good and the ambience very pleasant.

We had a really good meal, and the service was excellent. They show football on a big screen and it did get a bit loud, but i accept that the majority of the customers were there to watch it so it is understandsable

The food was good but the service was extremely slow - we had to wait an hour for a cold dish, we were later told some of the items we were after weren’t available, and we had to wait over an hour to settle our bill despite asking twice. We almost walked out. I’ve always had an excellent experience here in the past - this was definitely quite different.

Great pub not many left like this now. Young Irish lad looked after us who was terrific. The 2 pies and 2 pints on a Monday highly recommended. Just fall short of amazing as all 4 of us didn’t enjoy the crumble probably let down by vegan custard. Overall great place and just a short walk to Battersea Park.
