I booked a table for 10 people overall, for a work colleagues team lunch. Contacting the pub through email and phone was seamless, Corbin was absolutely great at keeping me informed and giving me peace of mind for a large group booking. We sent ahead a pre-booked menu and I couldn't fault it the timings or service at all, even the drinks were served quickly. There was always people around to check in on us. My colleague forgot her phone in the pub after we left, and I was easily able to collect it afterwards without any hassle. One of the barmen kept it safe. This has been the best customer experience we've received from a restaurant/bar during the busy festive period. I'd strongly recommend and would return again in the future :)
It was Saturday lunchtime, and busy, so we had to wait a bit, and there were a fair few families with young kids, which put up the noise levels, but the food and service were great. And good value too.
Friendly service; good food; the only downer is the poor selection of hand-pulled (real) ales. All in all, very enjoyable.
Tasty food. Great atmosphere. Attentive staff. Excellent value. Highly recommended.
First time here for Sunday lunch and had an excellent meal and good service. Did not feel rushed at all, and restaurant was perfectly busy to provide atmosphere but not to feel noisy and cramped. More affordable of the London pubs in the area.
poor customer service, poor availability of roasts (we even saw the ones we were after come out long after we were told they weren't available), poor wait times
We both had the roast beef on recommendation with a cauliflower cheese side but we’re very disappointed. The Yorkshire puddings had obviously been precooked and reheated leaving them very hard, they looked great but didn’t have a pleasant mouth feel at all. The gravy was thin and lacked any ability to hug the contents of the plate just a pool of brown water for them to swim in. The peas and carrots were undercooked and I don’t mean al dente whilst I was served roast carrot that was completely black on one side although the rest of the carrots were fine. Roast potatoes not crisp at all. The beef itself though was nice and thinly sliced just a tiny bit over done for my taste though but that’s very personal preference. However, the service was very good and the ambience very pleasant.
Amazing roast, and came super quickly. Service was a little slow, and the Yorkshire puddings are now an extra. But delicious!
Excellent food, amazing service and reasonable prices! Wonderful every time.
Great Sunday roast, friendly staff and atmosphere, however found a hair in my roast dinner
Friendly staff, and good food, recommended for a casual dinner!
SUnday lunch but ran out of sunday lunches... other food was good, but booked a table specifically for that (5pm on Sunday).
Lots of new staff so things took a bit longer but the food was DELISH
Amazing food and service. Great prices and wonderful selection on the menu. Ambiance was superb and will come very regularly.
We had a really good meal, and the service was excellent. They show football on a big screen and it did get a bit loud, but i accept that the majority of the customers were there to watch it so it is understandsable
Much faster service than usual and the food was great
The food was good but the service was extremely slow - we had to wait an hour for a cold dish, we were later told some of the items we were after weren’t available, and we had to wait over an hour to settle our bill despite asking twice. We almost walked out. I’ve always had an excellent experience here in the past - this was definitely quite different.
A lovely trip to the Latchmere as per usual! Thanks
Great pub not many left like this now. Young Irish lad looked after us who was terrific. The 2 pies and 2 pints on a Monday highly recommended. Just fall short of amazing as all 4 of us didn’t enjoy the crumble probably let down by vegan custard. Overall great place and just a short walk to Battersea Park.
Casual lunch. Delicious. No complaints at all. Thanks to the team.
Great food, great atmosphere? But service has gotten quite slow.
Service is a little slow, and we almost walked out without paying accidentally because no one was serving us, but food was great and atmosphere also great
After completing a half-marathon around the many loops of Battersea Park - The Latchmere was a great place to come with friends to enjoy some food and drinks. Food = Great Drinks = Great Service = Great
Good food as per usual, but staff were quite inattentive which doesn’t usually happen. We had to go to the bar to order food and drinks because no staff came over, and weren’t asked if we wanted dessert so the kitchen was closed by the time we asked. Not the usual service I’ve had over the last 7 years.
Great dinner catching up with old friends. Staff were super friendly and food was great.
We did enjoy our visit at The Latchmere very much. The food was very good and also the service.
The lunch at The Latchmere was great. The food was excellent and also the service was very good!!
The perfect wintery pub - fireplace and lovely home cooked style food.
I love coming here and checking out the specials each time. Great cocktails too.
Fantastic food as always, and lovely sitting inside or outside.
Food was so great as per usual, and had a great time.
There food at this pub was so great as per usual, and the service also great. Lots of new staff but all very efficient.
One of my favourite winter spots - the fire place inside is so cosy!
First time ever here and what a fantastic place. The fish and chips are amazing and the pea purée is exceptional. I’d recommend it highly.
Hi everyone this was crap it wasn’t for me drinks was watered down and food is rubber.
Nice place for a pub quiz and food. A bit pricey for the food on offer, but about what you'd expect for London.
A good local pub but more tailored towards rugby than football (which is fair enough if that’s what you want but I’m a football fan). But overall a very good experience
We did enjoy our lunch at the Latchmere. Service was very good
Our order was a bit scattered - fault on both sides but delicious food and we’re ready to go back for Sunday lunch Soonest.
We did enjoy our lunch. Food and service was very good.
As a local resident it was lovely to be able to return to the Latchmere. The food was very good and exactly what you want from a pub, prices are good wine list is well sorted and not over priced. The only small drawback was that on a quiet Friday the service was pretty slack. We waited to order, no salt or pepper until requested, wine bottle not cleared when we ordered a top up, just a series of points where we had to ask, rather than it being offered, or just done. As said, this was a quiet service but that doesn’t bode well for a busy one.
Very good and great food and wonderful staff great experience
Excellent food and great presentation. My first roast at a restaurant in 2 years and it didn’t disappoint.
The Latchmere is one of our local pubs and we love visiting it. The staff are amazing. I cannot fault the service.
Great pub - love the outside garden area in the summer
Usually the best place in town, with the best staff - but loads was forgotten from our order, and the food took was longer than usual. Great food, as usual, just a much slower service, with a tighter turnaround on sittings.
The food was lovely, especially the jerk chicken wings! Our waiter was also lovely
Had a really great visit, we felt safe he whole time as everything was spaced out and cleaned whenever people left. The food was delicious, beef brisket mac and cheese is divine! Service was also really great. Will be back after this lockdown is over!
thank you for nice evening it was very good and nice
A good experience as ever with good staff doing their best
